Angie Grace's Quirky Patterns Another Hit
Angie Grace's Quirky (Angie's Patterns Volume 14) ($11.95 on Amazon) is the fourth pattern color design book I have purchased and, yet again, I am not disappointed. This volume contains 50 patterns-all square-that range from small detail best suited for finer tipped markers or pens to larger detail, suitable for wider tipped markers or crayons. The designs remind me of individual tiles-and I do seem to end up using colors that remind me of Mexican tiles. The variety of the design details is good and ranges from swirls to boxes to one that, to me, looked like repeating pine cones! The paper quality in this volume is the best of all the books I've purchased so far. I've used heavily saturated markers on these pictures and I've had no bleed through. This has eliminated the need to place another loose sheet of paper between the pages, which is very nice. The one down side to this volume, like all of Angie's books, the pages are not perforated for easy removal.I give this volume a 5-star rating for the number of patterns in the book, the variety of designs and the wonderful paper quality. Another highly recommend, in my opinion.

Great Detailed Patterns
I love the Angie Grace books that have the bold black outline rather than the thin light black. I wish all of her coloring books were done in bold black. Quirky, Bling, Flowers, Doodles, are all great. If you like smaller, more detailed patterns these are all good ones. I like using the Sharpie ultra fine markers when I color. You will need to use a sheet of paper to put between the pages, as markers bleed through.

Great Patterns!
I purchased the Sampler by Angie Grace first, so I had a good idea which book I would like the most. I then ordered the Quirky book and have a couple more in my wish list.I love the size of the book. It is a small, square book, but it is the perfect size for me. I am injured and if the book is too big, or rectangular, it is hard for me to manipulate. Coloring is so much easier for me with this book. The patterns are very interesting. I like that each page is one sided. I put a piece of copy paper behind the page I am going to color so if my pens bleed it will not mess up the next picture.I use fined tipped Sharpie Ultra Fine Markers, Crayola Super Tips and US Art Supply Colored pencils. It is great to sit, relax and just color. It is very calming and stress free.

Love the book
The lines in this book are thicker and darker than in Snazzy. I find with the darker lines I am pressing harder with my colored pencils. Other than that little problem I love the book. I did not think I was going to like the size but it is perfect for using a regular clipboard,

Delightful, Challenging, Fun Designs for the advanced colorist
I have quickly become addicted to Angie Grace's Patterns coloring book series for fine-tipped markers and colored pencils. She is a gifted design artist and outdoes herself with each new volume. The designs are delightful, each book containing an assortment of easier but still challenging designs with bigger spaces, to designs with very intricate, tiny spaces. All her designs are delightful and it is hard to decide which to color next. This book is not for the faint of heart. It is a challenging and very fun book and I highly recommend it to creative colorists.

Meditative
Gorgeous! So relaxing to sit and color. The patterns are intricate and entertaining. I subtracted a star only for the fact that these are not broad or wide patterns, the details are intricate and may require a nice set of fine tip art markers. Your kid's big Crayola Markers aren't going to work for this.

Great coloring books
I love all of Angie Grace's coloring books. The paper is great and the patterns are only printed on one side, so they can be used with alcoholic markers. Angie's website is also amazing, with lots of coloring ideas and examples what others have done in the past. Angie uses Copic markers which are amazing, but a bit too expensive in my opinion. I've been using Spectrum Noir markers instead which work well for me.

GREAT stress release or time killer!
Excellent way to get lost for a while!! I recently purchased this book knowing that I would be in the hospital for a few days awaiting our little man's birth. Loved being able to sit and focus on this to pass the time. On average, I spend around four hours completing one page. I would highly recommend a good set of fineliner markers for this.

This is my first Angie Grace book but I doubt it will be my last. It is smaller than most colouring books but that isn't a bad thing. I like that it is compact and easy to manoeuvre on my craft tray. The patterns are lovely - pretty, detailed and just begging to be coloured. I bought it on Black Friday too, so it only cost me half the price - bargain!

Really good, clear patterns to get your colour in the patterns.
I love these colouring books by Angie Grace, better than any other books. They are clear and so much clearer to get the colour on the page. Am going through them one by one.
