Very good computer. Handles multi-tasking well.
I purchased mine, Used Like New. Aside from the packaging it really is like new. With the exception of battery life which seems to be roughly 2.5 to 3 hrs. The backlit keyboard and touch screen work just as well as on my other two Dell laptops. Which is fantastic. Streaming movies on this computer you can really judge how good the screen is. Just nudge the touchpad and the keyboard lights up. This model just doesn't come with an optical drive. Which is an easy problem to resolve. This laptop is fast, sleek and has Windows 10. Which I much prefer over WIN 11. Set up was a breeze. It calibrated all my info with my other laptops, phone, etc, and was off and running lickety split. For anyone that may not know, F10 will turn on or off the back lit keyboard. Allowing you to save power when not plugged in. So, if you purchase one and you think it went out, try that. Overall, I really like the computer. I primarily bought it as a backup. But I've actually been using it more now than my others. The Wi Fi connection on this is VERY good. Aside from that, it is everything as is described. And having three, I definitely recommend. I do want to emphasize this being used, like new is more than likely why the battery has such a short life span. My two others go much longer. 4 stars from me.

Unreliable since I purchased in December 2019
I have had several Dells which I usually like. This one has been "spotty" since I bought it. Blue screen occasionally, critical errors, battery not charging...feels like one thing after another. Also, gets very hot. I think I better replace it before it totally breaks down but I would expect a $1100 computer to last more than TWO years! On the positive side, it is fairly light weight and I like the screen. The only other negative is that for some reason it is hard to see the letters on the keyboard. I'm not sure if it is because of the silver keyboard but sometimes I have to tilt the keyboard a certain way to see certain keys.

Super Satisfied !!
I was looking to replace a 7 year old laptop that seen better days...I looked for months on and off . I add this one to my list because it matched the dimensions of the old laptop with some upgrades and minus other stuff i don't need anymore. Just like everyone else I was pleased with a new laptop. I had an issue with with Tag # not matching what the software was showing. I called Dell to see what the issue was. The Agent informed me that the laptop was upgrade by an authorized vendor , they forgot to update the Tag # to show it's been upgraded. The Agent then proceeded to tell me the upgrades bumped the cost of the unit from 3 00 to $400 higher than the base unit. I went on Dells website to price it out and he was right ! I got way more than what I paid for it !!!! I have no complaints with the unit aside from the battery life.

Works Great!
The bootup is quite fast, exceeds my last laptop hands down. I don't use the touch screen at all, so I didn't rate it. Really seems like overkill on this machine. I would have given it a 5 star rating except it does NOT have as USB C connection. I was going to hook it up to a docking station but didn't realize that it did not have that capability. I guess I should have looked closer. Other users have complained about fan noise. I do not have any issues with the fan. Only occasionally can I even hear it. I have been a Dell user for many years now and I have also had several other brands of laptops, but Dell is my preferred laptop.

Very Pleased!
I was going to return this at first because I thought I just had to have a brand new computer and didn't notice it was a used laptop. I had contacted the seller and everything about returning it, they said I could no problem. But when I got it I decided to check it out. I am glad I did. I got everything I wanted in a very good laptop for less than I would have spent for a brand new one. It was in brand new condition too. No scratches or anything. My wireless mouse didn't work in one of the ports, but does work in the others on the opposite site which actually worked out better. The touchscreen comes in handy too at times. Recorded sound quality is good. The recording video quality could have been a bit better, but all in all I am very pleased with this laptop.

Good value for the Money
I bought this computer because I was looking for a computer for my wife that had: a SSD, at least 16Gb of ram and at least a i5 processor. Also my wife feels more comfortable working on Windows. This one was a good balance between price and specs. It looks a lot like a Macbook Pro, but it feels a little more fragile than a Mac. She also liked that this one had a full keyboard including the numbers keypad. The Touchscreen in a thing like a laptop is something that I feel that is useless. It doesn't respond as well as a modern cellphone does.We were looking for a laptop with SSD, but this one also had an internal HDD of 1Tb, which is useful for storing all the data that are not critical to access. That was something nice that we found.

Not as advertised, battery fails after 1.5 years
I bought this laptop in April 2020 for about $850. It has worked very well since then until about a month ago. The battery never really held a charge longer than 2 hours, which was fine because I only used it at home at a desk. But now, the battery will not charge and I keep getting a warning that the computer cannot determine the AC Voltage. Apparently this is a common thing with Dell laptops that I was unaware of. The laptop barely runs now. This all happed suddenly, there has been no damage to the laptop. Additionally, when trying to figure out this issue, I realized that the warranty expired only 6 months after I bought it because I bought it from a 3rd party on Amazon. It is also not the model number that it was represented to be (still a 15 inspiron, but slightly different model than what it was listed as). Disappointed that the laptop failed after less than 1.5 years of use. My old HP laptop lasted 6 years and I only got rid of it because I broke the hinge. I do not recommend Dell after this experience.
