Used to seal against mice and is working great.

Easy to use to pack into cracks and gaps to prevent insects or animals from getting into your home.

It worked well. Be careful where you cut it or use it because it leaves small bits of wire that get into the skin. Cut it over a box or something you can throw away. The small fragments get everywhere. Use a vacuum.

As other people have done, I used this to fill gaps that mice were using to gain entry to places where they're not welcome... in my case, underneath exterior base trim that, while properly installed to allow water/moisture to drain out from behind clapboards, still had provided mice with an ideal place to hide and next. Putting this wool between the cement pad beneath the trim and the trim itself, any moisture still can escape, but the mice can't get in, and the wool doesn't rust. Since it's sharp, I suppose they don't pull at the wool, or try to use it to build other nests.Pretty easy to install, wear gloves!

We loved that it was such a fine steel wool and could be cut to fit into small crevices. We had problems with field mice getting into our house. We took a flashlight and sealed up all the corners in the bathroom, closet, under the sink in the kitchen, etc. they are gone!

Really good stuff. Works well at removing the oxidation from my trailer windows.
