How wide are the slots that hold the pliers?

Each slot is 0.875" inside the slots

I have a drawer that is 12x19 inches could this be cut down to fit? If I wanted to use two of them.

It may work, I would not.Put then opposing corners of drawer, the offset is enough room to overlap few tools.Great items, I bought 14 of them for my toolboxes

I recently ordered two of these, one was higher than 3". i have returned that one. how do i order and ensure i receive the 3" model?

Try contacting the seller and ask them to send you one that is 3”. Hope this helps😄
