Obviously all cats have different problems but this was the only product which worked for our cat. He developed loose stools, sometimes with blood, and no medication would help him. Eight months later, an op discovered nothing wrong accept high levels of bacteria in intestines. Hills ID and Hills ZD did not help his problem but Purina cured him within days and he has been fine for the last year. Unfortunately he cannot eat any other food whatsoever but does enjoy this food. He is a greedy cat and we have had to cut back amount as he was putting on weight despite not having large portions. It is expensive so do your homework on prices first.
