Great Product - Small problem - but the company took good care of us.
Installed reel and after about 2 weeks of use it began not ratcheting...so it had constant tension on the reel. As soon as I contacted the company, they responded quickly with a video link on a possible fix. Without any other contact I received a shipping notice that my exact replacement with a brand new one was on the way. I received it a few days later. WOW - THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. They are now the reel brand I will always use.

Replaced my beginner plastic hose reel
I had my Bluebird for a few years. It's awesome. It retracts when you want it to. It stops retracting when you have your hose drawn. And the hose is flexible without a memory of being wound on a reel.

Great heavy duty 1/2" hose reel
Overall I like this hose reel and it seems to work well and is well constructed and sturdy. The only thing I don't understand is why the hose leader doesn't have a swivel end on at least one end! This problem seems very consistent across the industry though, since many of the other leaders I've bought are the same way. Makes no sense to me.

Broke on first use
Bought this because it seemed of good quality with lots of solid reviews. First time I set it up and unspooled maybe 3/4 of the hose and the inner wind up spring broke and the hose completely unraveled. Had to wind it by hand and bungee it. Will update depending on whether warranty will cover this since I missed the Amazon return window.

Great tool
Seems very high quality and will most likely last forever. Helps make my shop less messy and is very convenient. Would recommend for someone needing high air flow.

Great tool, be easier on it when in transport
Got the product in works as intended it really is just fine the house feels like it’s made out of durable material. Only issue was that when I received it and I open up the box I found a hose reel bent all of the Styrofoam was intact but the box itself is also ratty looking.
