Easy to make different size filters.

The plastic frames (I had two) warped due to heat coming from my stove top. Cannot use anymore. The product is a good idea but plastic does not work for my needs. There should be a warning (maybe I missed it) about potential warping. Wish they had one that used metal.

Plastic frame tends to warp with heat. A week after install, it was bent out of shape, no pun intended!

Once you cut these down to size there's a little difficult to get the black outside edge back onto the mesh however they work great once you get them customized. It's was the only option I could find for my very old range hood. Well worth the hassle.

I bought this hood filter because I couldn't find one made for the model I have. We have to cut the filter with scissors and the frame with a knife. Cutting is not difficult. The hardest part is cutting straight. The product I have is slightly too large on one end, but I'm too lazy to go back and cut more, so it just hangs a tiny bit out. No one looks up there anyway.

The filter came on time. The instructions were very clear and they had pictures to help you cut it to size. It fits fine and I'm very pleased with it.
