Black & Decker Advanced Home Wiring, 5th Edition Kindle Edition

The book has a lot of the information I was looking for to complete my garage re-purposing into a workshop/UAV production line. I knew there were things wrong with my existing setup; this book allowed me to confirm everything I thought was wrong. From the sub-panel to the wire that was used, almost nothing is right. The book covers codes which is essential to my remodel. I want to do things right the first time and make sure I can pass an inspection.I could say that the part covering network setups is a bit lacking and downright simplistic. Then again, I work managing networks and wiring ethernet cables among other things so I would not fault the book for lacking advance network concepts. For those looking for a head start, the content is very good.

Great guide for most household electrical work. Make sure to get the NEC code book too. While this guide is good you also need to know the code.

Great reference when wiring more complex runs.

This book covers what you need to know to do the job right. Lots of diagrams with understandable information. A good refresher to make sure your not missing something even if you have done it before.

I like this book because it's easy to understand the diagrams and the full color pictures are up close and easy to decipher. I wish there was information on installing a exterior breaker service box and building a temp pole service panel box as this isn't covered at all but the book is well written and talks about other areas in detail.

Good book, easy to use and understand. Very helpful at detailing what is needed to request a permit and get it to pass inspection.

I bought 4 other wiring books, this is by far the best and most comprehensive book I've purchased. I've used it to wire my home and I passed all the inspections other than a few minor improvements to change my quality of work!

Back before internet this would have been the best resource. I can Google all of this. And their wire fill charts are less understandable than what comes in the NEC.
