Very pretty, but they feel like plastic to me.
They are polyester alright, but it is not a soft polyester (99%) and a strange thing (1%) called Lurex - which is made out of aluminum and plastic. Very pretty, but I won't put them on a wooden table.

Nice mats
The mats look great on my kitchen table. One mat does have a burn mark from a pot. Easy to clean.

Not sized consistently
Matched the placemats exactly. The only thing is o e of the napkins is larger than the others.
