WAY cheaper than getting it from a dealer, and very easy to set up. It comes with instructions and with a battery that is already installed.

This worked as simple as the instructions said. I was very skeptical that this would work. Have a 2018 Chevy Silverado. I did worry when I got the package as the package would lend me to believe that my truck and year would not work, but I reviewed the website and it said it would. Just a note for others to disregard the package writing and trust the description on the webstie.

Didn’t work on 2022 Colorado
I tried two separate units and couldn’t get either to program properly. After inserting the first device it did nothing so it was returned and replaced. The second did nothing and then about 1 min later it would beep but not enter program learning mode on dash. I tried several times but the same result. It simply didn’t work for my 2022 Chevy Colorado. Amazon is also stating it will take 30 days to get a refund so buyer beware! You may have your funds tied up if you go this route. Disappointed in this whole experience.

Cheap Key, Great Programmer
The key is kind of cheap compared to OEM, but the programmer works great even on other keys.

Pairs easily with GM pickup
The dongle that plugs into the OBD port worked as advertised! 2014 GMC RCSB pickup. Took longer to type this review than to pair up my nee key fob.Two thumbs up!! 👍🏼👍🏼

Don't get stiffed by the Steelership prices they will want to charge you and DIY. I Programed 3 key fobs in 2 mins with a 2015 Gmc sierra 1500 with 315 MHz freq. This is a great product.

Another outstanding QUALITY Dorman product!I used this on my mint condition heavily modified 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 4 × 4. The truck has a Diablo i3 Platinum tuner and I thought this product might conflict with it. NO ISSUES!I mated/keyed in two new FOBs for my truck in less than 5 minutes.
