Well made. Solid knobs. Easy to install and they haven't come loose like some of the cheaper brands. Good finish. I put these on a blacked out Stratocaster and the color was dark enough to blend well with the rest of the hardware. Worth it to me to spend a little more for the higher quality.

If you're looking for well-made knobs, these are the ones.

My Les Paul Jr. has a coul tap in the P90 pickup and the usual knobs that come with the guitar weren't the best suited for push-pull operation. These allow a very easy grip for push-pull use. As well, very helpful for someone who sweats alot and slips on the plastic knobs on stage. Very sturdy, so I believe they will stand up to years of abuse.

I upgraded a Jackson Monarkh SCX6 with Seymour Duncan SPH90 pickups which led to upgrading it with CTS 500K pots. The original import knobs would not fit the larger shafts on the new pots and I wanted to keep the barrel style for appearance. The Vintage Forge knobs satisfied the appearance aspect just fine however, the CTS pots I used have split shafts and the knobs are made for solid shafts. I knew this going in and yes they were a little loose. I simply took a small screwdriver and spread the shafts just to the point where there was a little resistance pushing the knobs on. I aligned each setscrew with the slot in each shaft and tightened them up. It would appear they are happy to be there and they feel solid. I do not necessarily recommend that everyone do it this way but I have no problem with it. I find these knobs to be high quality with a gentle knurling and a beautiful black finish. Of course they do have a little weight being solid metal but I like that. At the first opportunity I will use the Vintage Forge brand again!

Normally Vintage Forge products are high quality. Unfortunately, 1 of the 2 knobs is unusable. The set screw was completely stripped out upon arrival. Which is a shame because the other one looks great, but I needed 2 for my Telecaster.
