Amano is a human who works at a small, strange inn on the edge of civilization that serves as a refuge for the Others—immortal visitors from the everlasting world, which exists parallel to the transient world of mankind. When Tsukuyomi, the king of the world of the deathless, pays a visit to the inn, it’s up to Amano to tend to his every need. But to his shock, the haughty, beautiful king is the spitting image of his old childhood friend who disappeared under mysterious circumstances long ago! Tsukuyomi’s world may be far, far removed from Amano’s own…but in a moment of passion, Amano vows to always stay by the king’s side. With over 40 new pages of additional content, this book includes the definitive version of The King of the Full Moon. It also features 31 new pages of The Colors of Zhen, another sensual Yayohi Monzen work! Review: Good - I really enjoyed it. The characters are interesting and unique. The story was both weird and intriguing. I definitely want to read more if there are other volumes. Review: Quite interesting - Let's get the fangirling out of my system first: I WANT MORE! I WANT TO READ MORE ABOUT THEIR LIFE TOGETHER! MY FEELS! OK, with that out, let's talk about the story and characters. I admit that I'm a sucker for myths and supernatural stuff, even more so when it has to do with culture, folklore or history. So, the fact that this story has a bit of each is great. The art is a mix of realistic and fantastically mixed components with a touch of historical references. Now, as it was only one volume, I found that it paced itself really well; just a couple of jumps that were confusing for a few seconds, but it cleared away a with no problem. I admit that I experienced mixed feelings when I thought about the outcome of the story, but the author also plays with that, giving hints that not everything is black or white related to the future of the pairing. Just be warned that it has smuty parts, in case that isn't your cup of tea.

Loved the story
Hated the ending. I wanted some kind of satisfaction but maybe some will be okay with the ambiguity. It's just not for me.

Beautiful art, bittersweet story
The story between Tsukuyomi and Amano is bittersweet but the art is beautiful. The bonus story between Tsai Hong and Fei is sweet and cute with a little humor. I liked both. Well worth the read.

Beautiful story and art!
The first story was unique. I hadn't seen a concept like that yet. I was a little confused by the second story. I think it was a continuation of a previously released work. I am looking forward to the next book.

Beautiful, kind of dreamy
Do you like BL? Do you like the classic Studio Ghibli movie Spirited Away? If you said yes to both of these, you will love this. An unusual story about two men on the edge of the real world and the spirit world, with an usual yet effective art style. I definitely recommend giving it a read. We need more this sort of supernatural/fantasy BL in English!!!

It's okay
It's okay... I normally like strangely dawn manga, because it mostly means the story is more important... both just left me feeling, meh... There are 2 stories. 1) Is interesting, there are 2 worlds, and a human must rule the demon world (they call it something else, but it's a demon world) and on this day, the king comes back to earth to spend his time in a hotel, that knows how to look after him, and one of the workers get closer than he maybe should, and the story only gets better. though it's ending? might call for a 2nd manga? 2) something about a bird man, who's arms are his wings and needs to be looked after by a human... they are together? tbh, I'm not sure what was going on, it seems to start in the middle and ends somewhere else.. Also, get it on Kindle... the font was stupidly small for no reason, I had to zoon in the whole time, and if the print is the same, I would have had to get a magnifying glass (which I've done before, and dont like doing) It's also edited, using white lines to censor 'things'. ... The only good thing about this manga tbh, is most of the 1st story and the cover artwork. OH, and it's all Adult men. Other than that? I'm sure there is something more interesting in the suggested manga on this page. or just look up other 'BL manga'
