Guitar Bass Push Push Pot(No Pull Anymore) Guitar Potentiometer Pot with USA/Imperial Brass Shaft

Decent push/push. Not as high quality as push/pulls I've used.
Reasonable quality push/push switch and pot. We will see how the spring holds up, so far, so good. It rides a bit high for a standard strat tone knob to sit nearly flush to bottom of a 3 ply standard pickguard. You will need an additional backing nut to adjust height as low as possible (which they should include but do not). Fortunately, the switch action only takes a mm or so to actuate. The pot is very low turning friction as compared to a standard CTS. Also, the switch terminals are tiny and should be made a bit beefier with larger holes for hookup (especially if you are routing actual pickup signals with Gavitt type AWG). I ended up soldering on extension terminals. I used this as a middle tone control to also activate 7-way switching in a Strat.

Good push-push potentiometers
I wanted to use these because they are more practical than push-pull potentiometers which I was already using. I ordered two of them and both work well. I did notice that the rotation is more loose than other potentiometers I've used but that's not really an issue for me.I was hoping the tolerances were better though. I ordered 500 kOhm (A500K) but my multimeter measured one at 460 kOhm, and the other at 420 kOhm.I installed both (metric) to an Epiphone SG and fit great.

The push-push mechanisms works really well, but the tone knob's friction is too low.
Low friction tone pot, works well enough in a Chinese RG copy which I use as a project, replicating the Gibson M-III wiring. I like the push-push much more than the push-pull, especially because it holds it's respective state way better on an accidental touch. I'd like to get more of these, replacing the push-pulls in my other guitars also, but the low friction will likely be a problem.

May sound a little dark
The previous pot (non push/pull type) was also 500k. I don't know for sure, but this new one sounds a little darker to me. I can't really swap back and forth easily to be able to do an A-B comparison. Also the hole on the guitar had to be enlarged a little bit for this new pot to fit in. I don't know if the original listing had a measurement for the width of the hole. Lastly, because you need room to push down to change the state of the switch, the volume knob sits a little higher than it used to. Not really an issue, but it stands out more than it used to.

so far lasting well
Haven't gigged much with pandemic, but the Strat volume swells are effortless due to low friction of the pot. Also means the volume level can get easily 'strummed' off setting, so the switch function is used to setup a 'blow' switch....full on pickups hit the output jack, no volume pot load whatsoever..... Hasn't gotten scratchy yet...

Sold choice for a Push Push!!
No reason not to use these. I bought 2 more after the first one arrived and they have been working great. One came damaged from shipping (it was literally crushed) and was replaced for free. Good feel to the turn of the knob as well. Winner!

Please add a 2nd nut for height adjustment
Please add a 2nd nut for height adjustment. Exceeded my expectations. I used a 100w soldering iron and I am pretty sure I way overheated it, but kept working fine
