USB C to HDMI
Works great with my 2017 MacBook Pro and Samsung S8The New MacBook only have USB-C Port, I need additional HDMI port to connect the monitor and projector.I decided to buy this UNI adapter After researching other brand, the design caught my eyes when the first time I saw it, nylon braided cable and space grey aluminum case looks very durable and compact. What amazed me was the non-slip design at the USB-C side.I have been using this adapter to connect my Samsung 4K monitor for several days now, it works great as intended, just plug and paly, resolution 4K 60Hz,no any delay and flickering issue. It also works perfect with my Samsung S8, found a way to play mobile game with big screen now! highly recommend!

It Works but Still Learning
I connected this to my 27" iMac and then a standard cheap HTMI cable to my 60" LG TV. and it worked straight out of the box. I can repeat my Mac screen on the TV and use the TV screen as an expansion of my Mac screen. No complaints about it working but am still struggling a little with practicality. A soon as I connect it my iMac, which is already a pretty hi res screen, goes into a "super hi res mode" with a cursor the size of a grain of dust and menus to match so I am struggling to do anything meaningful. It also seems that some commercial video output gets blocked from using the connected screen. None of this changes the fact that the adapter does exactly what it is supposed to do. I.e. send Mac video to a TV.It does seem to be a solid well made piece of kit and is good value for money. If I can find answers to getting a practical output I will update here.I find reviews of others useful in my buying decisions. If this helps you please click the "helpful" button so I know I am not wasting my time.

Great USB-C HDMI adapter.
The adapter works perfectly with my Surface Book 2 and Dell 4k Monitor, however I am seemingly only getting 30hz at 2160p rather than 60hz. This may be my monitor rather than the adapter at fault (I suspect I need a display port adapter for 60hz with this monitor). It came packaged very simply (nothing fancy - but if it reduces cost I am not complaining) , and the build quality of the adapter itself is excellent. As good as any Official Apple Adapter or Microsoft adapters / cables I have used and bought in the past.I also tried the adapter on my Huawei P20 Pro and it was able to mirror and extend desktop mode to my monitor and TV without problems. All in all, very satisfied with the adapter and would recommend.

Great service, great cable ....
Fantastic cable, worked first time and a perfect match for my space grey Mac which I'm now using with a 4k monitor.Really easy to use and practical to carry so looking forward to Netflix on the hotel TV on my next travel.Great build quality and superb attention to detail: the carry pouch is an excellent idea and as the cable is shielded in braided nylon I can't see it will cause any problems anytime soon.Would buy from this source again and again ....

Great product for iMac Pro (2017) + 4K monitor
Relatively simple to setup and use - just plug and play (make sure you get the right port!). As the ports on the iMac are located on the back, I thought I could plug this in using feel alone. I located what I thought was the correct port, plugged it in (seemed a little loose) then got a popup on my screen stating a device is requiring high amount of power and usb devices will be disabled.TURNS OUT usb-c connectors fit into usb sockets (no properly, but when you can't see!) Luckily no damage, relocated to correct usb-c port once I realised what an idiot I was and have to say works like a charm. Zero setup on the iMac, just worked. The instructions are in English, a little broken as it's clearly been translated, but clear for purpose. Mentioned something about possibly getting hot and that being normal, but doesn't even get warm, never mind hot. I think the instructions cover multiple products so maybe more specific to other similar products they sell.I went for the usb-c adapter + hdmi cable over a straight usb-c to HDMI cable as its easier to unplug the hdmi from the adapter when I want to change devices on my external monitor rather than keep unplugging either the hdmi end or the usb-c end (given my initial faux-par, that might be a good thing!)I would recommend this adapter.

4 stars all round - but only just!
To be honest, I very nearly opted for 3 stars but felt it was too harsh - maybe 3.5 would be more accurate. This wasn't the cheapest USB-C to HDMI cable available on amazon, but after reading the reviews and doing some due diligence I decided to go for it. It's the first one I've bought as I now have a Surface 3 which alas has no HDMI port.Firstly - the picture isn't great, I was actually quite surprised by how poor the quality was, maybe this is because my TV is a few years old though but still, it took some tweaking on the TV itself to affect a better quality.Secondly - you have to plug it in and out of the laptop several times and likewise with the TV/according screen etc, some amount of jiggery pokery to get the audio to connect. It never works first time around which is incredibly frustrating!Despite all of this, it does the job and wasn't too expensive. The cable is a great size and seems very robust. Maybe it just takes some getting use to. Hence the 4 stars. It's definitely a journey getting used to it!
