PTC 9799 Steampunk Inspired Mechanical Spider Resin Statue Figurine, 6"

This is so beautiful and will be perfect for what I need. It’s gorgeous and a really good size. Worth the money!

I love my little spider other than one of his legs broke because he fell off my desk. I just glued that baby. Back on, but as long as your gentle with it and not tossing it around or anything, you'd be good. But I love my spider!

The seller was amazing, but I feel it important to note that this little critter, although AWESOME, has a serious design flaw. I ordered one and it came in one day, but one of the legs was broken. The let joints, where they attach to the body, are too thin for the weight of the legs. I returned the broken one and requested another, which also came in one day. However, the replacement Tarantula had TWO broken legs. They were shipped well with plenty of padding to prevent breakage during shipping, but the legs were broken nonetheless. I opted to keep this one (for fear of getting one with THREE broken legs) and will do my best to re-attach the legs. Still an awesome Steampunk inspired Tarantula - will be used as a decoration for my vendor booth at an upcoming Steampunk festival so as long as no one tries to pick it up, it should be fine.

Pretty cool steampunk spider. Perfect gift for the husband. Bigger than expected which is nice . A bit fragile as one of the legs were broken when I opened the package but an easy fix.

Love love love this unique item. Looks great with my other steampunk, gothic stuff! I thought it would look cheap since it felt so light and I had just received a heavy duty metal motorcycle thing, but it looks amazing and is very different. Great price for what you get but don't expect anything heavy duty!

It arrived broken on Christmas eve after a delay in shipping- or I would have returned it. I superglued it however and went with it anyways as he is a particular kiddo and I figured why not? Well, it was a bad choice considering the other legs were bent minutes after gifting and pieces were flaking off. For a resin statue I expected it to be stiff and nonmoving- it would serve perfect as a paperweight. Don't think for a moment this could be a toy in any shape or form. I have bought plastic things from Walmart or even Dollar Store that lasted longer then this did. Which is sad because this spider looks incredible! I thought for this hefty price like a Schleich figurine it would last a bit longer. So if you are buying it as a shelf ornament or a paperweight, its perfect. Any other purpose be aware it bends and breaks easily. Not like a solid figurine should. Doesn't break like ceramic even, its annoying. He did love it and will continue loving it until it cant be glued anymore. Its a large figure and it has a presence for sure- just look with your eyes. don't touch.

bad design with body not elevated off the ground as if standing on legs, also extremely brittle and weak legs for the size of this statue, with several already nearly broken when I received it an several more breaking soon afterward without any undue or unusual stress; bad quality design and plastic/resin selection; looks great, but not structurally sound, even by typical plastic miniature standards

I'm not very impressed with this at all. It looks and feels like a cheap plastic kid's toy. The painting is patchy and also it was so badly packed that a couple of the legs are cracked. For the life of me I can't understand all the good reviews it has. At half the price it would still be a waste of money.

This tarantula decor is awesome. Unfortunately when it arrived despite the extreme care they took in packaging it the front leg was broken fortunately though it seems that there's some kind of wire metal frame that goes through it so it didn't detach it was just the resin that was broken and we were able to fix it with some contact cement glue

Looks great from a distance, but upon closer inspection it is rather crudely made. Don’t let the word “resin” fool you. It is made of plastic and it is FRAGILE!! Mine arrived with both front legs broken. I was able to repair it satisfactorily with a bit of super glue, but it is very disappointing. Had I seen this before purchasing it, I don’t think I would have. The idea is super cool but it really is of dollar store quality and the price is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!
