Got Lucky with My First Pair and Got the Right Size + Length
This was my first pair of "wrap pants". Similar wrap pants are alternatively called "fisherman pants", "renaissance pants", "samurai pants" and "yoga pants". "Fisherman pants" and "yoga pants" generally have minimalist, plain, simple designs, while "renaissance pants" and "samurai pants" are flashier and prettier. However, they all have two belts/ropes/strings that wrap around the waist to secure the pants. For my first "wrap pants", Amazon mistakenly sent me a grey one (instead of dark olive green as listed here, but I actually prefer dark colors like black and grey;.) Other than getting the wrong color, I have been vary happy with the pants: they are very comfortable and relaxed. Since buying this pair, i have bought and tried half a dozen different wrap pants, (i.e., fisherman, renaissance, samurai and yoga,) made by different manufacturers from Amazon. The problem with the "Siam Thailand" branded pants is that their lengths seem to be random even if you select the same size. So you might have to exchange/return a few pairs before you finally got the right length. I got lucky with my first order: the wrap pants came in the perfect length for me. If my first pair was too short or the wrong size, I would likely have stopped buying any more wrap pants. (I was not so lucky with my second pair of Siam Thailand fisherman pants, which was too short, and I returned them.) I have not had the same problem with other brands. For this particular order of my first pair of wrap pants, I gave it 5 stars because it was the right length, in a color that I liked, and very comfortable. (For the other pair that was too short, I gave 2 stars.)

So comfy!
I love these pants. The fabric is light without appearing shear. I am comfortable going commando in these. They are one size fits all. I am 5'4" and 130#. There is a lot of extra fabric but once I got the hang of it, I was able to make it work. There is a bit of a learning curve so I would recommend wearing them a day around the house before taking them public. There are no instructions.

Somewhat see through Fabric. Fits small, thin person only
[Update: Because the tie is too short on the pair I recently bought, I sewed on 4 inch long, maroon colored tie extensions. I am not good at sewing, but have such a hard time buying thai fisherman pants that fit, I tried it! I think it will make this pair fit better and stay tied. And, it does fit better and it stays tied. Yet, I stopped wearing them because the material is so coarse -- even after 3 washings -- it feels like sandpaper against my skin if I sit for more than an hour in them! ] I bought this very product four years ago, and it was of high quality and fit very well. I am the same height and weight as then, 5foot9 inches, 150 pounds, but these that I just bought do not fit. Or rather, there is enough fabric to wrap around my waist, yet the cord is too short. I can tie it, but there is only 1 inch left of cord left on one side and 3 inch left on the other, and that is with small loops on the bow. In other words, I cannot adjust tightness at all. I still wear the ones bought 4 years ago. They fit fine. In fact, the cord on those, on one side, is longer than the cord on this new pair. Moreover, these pants are see through in moderate light. I regret buying them. To sum, the length of pant is fine, the amount of fabric is okay, yet the tie is too short.I am disappointed.

Short, way above my ankles
I bought xl that were on sale, almost giving them away. The fabric is nice, the sizing is on the small side.I am 5'5" and I will say my legs are short. The bottom of the pant legs are a good five inches above my ankles. It would be short for a petite person. That might be why they were on sale cheap.I am keeping them because I got them for lounge pants. They are really comfortable.

Something I Didn’t Know I Needed
I bought this to get into my Halfling Monk character and it’s perfect (practiced some kicks and felt no restriction on range of motion).I thought this would feel more cottony soft looking at the picture, but even though it’s not, it still feels comfortable. It also feels sturdier because it’s not stretchy.Seriously considering wearing these to work. I overheat quite easily and I don’t see that as being a problem with these. I haven’t taken these off yet from “trying them on”... even though I know I should wash them first. The color is not as vibrant as pictured, but I can live with it :)For reference, I’m 4’11.5” and they cover my feet and graze the floor.

Size is relative to culture
MY version of the size they sent is approximately 10 times larger than whoever they imagined they were sending it to.THAT person would probably be styling this brilliantly designed pants right now, a writing a very different review.Wish I'd thought of that. Then.

My favorite new chill pants.
These are my new favorite lounge pants. Loose, light, and I love how they look. I'd call the color more grey than green. I plan to get all available colors now. I was a bit unsure about how they would fit, but I'm 5' 10' and they are perfect, plus you can adjust the length a bit just by how you tie them.
