Frommer's Portland day by day

Worth the money. Informative and loved the map.

Overall very good but doesn't include Covid closures (of course because it was written beforehand).

Recently, I had to complete several must-do tasks in Portland, but I've gotten lost there more than I care to admit. I got this Frommer's to guide me around. I found it remarkably handy to discover places I'd heard about but never found. I got the must-do's done, then I found everything I'd hoped to find - and more. But, time ran out before I got to try PokPok chicken. I'll be going back soon, though, and my Framer's bookmarked.

This was a great book for my Portland trip. The map was indispensably helpful! I used it to mark all of the places I wanted to go and then was able to map out days based on closeness.I also loved that the book recommended lodging - the Portland International Guesthouse was a superb choice for me!

Very easy to work with. The map as always with Frommer are excellent and great places to hike, eat and visit!

I'm a huge fan of the Frommer's day by day series !They're my go to guide for city trips .We love sightseeing by walking and the themed walking tours are fantastic . They always include a little eatery which we include when it suits and those we have tried were all worth the visit .

This brand new guide to Portland is so concise and helpful for out-of-town visitors. It also is a great reference for Portland area residents, who are entertaining out-of-town guests. A quick look gives so many ideas on places to take your guests, no matter how many times they have come to visit! Especially helpful is the section on Rainy Day Portland.

Great companion for anyone planning to spend a few days in Portland, Oregon. I found that more general guides didn't contain enough information on sites in the city, but this Frommer guide was perfect, with great maps.

This has been a wonderful book to help us plan our trip to Portland. Well laid out, easy to plan, and read.
