Encased American Armor for iPhone 8/2020/2022 iPhone SE Belt Clip Case, Rugged Full Body Case with Built-in Screen Protector and Holster (Blue)

Being on-call related to my job, I have to be on phone repeatedly. I wanted something to hold my phone on a belt clip while giving me an option for working hands free, keep my pockets uncluttered. Choices in this type of phone holders are very limited. Some of the choices were very expensive, (established names), others lesser known have designing defects and poor material. Luckily, I bought this case. Perfect balance of design, material and cost. Now I have used it for almost 2 years. I have been very happy with my purchase. Highlights - the edges are rounded, material scratch proof, the jacket edges are raised above the screen. The last feature is most useful. Yes I have dropped it with face down from standing height - it did not damage my screen. Has a stand - watching videos is easy. It is bulky but is much lighter than its famous rival, easy to carry, the slots are perfectly lined up. Clip is a little too large and can poke when bending over or driving car. I typically slide the clip over to my side. Overall - great product and will buy it again.

I must amend this review because it was very politely pointed out to me that if I turned my phone over with the ear bud connection on the bottom the case works perfectly with ear phones and power cords. I use it every day and am more than a little embarrassed that I missed something that obvious.This is a great iPhone protective case. It is easy to use, it fits well on your belt, Ed does protect the phone quite well. Here are the two issues that made this unusable for me and why I will be returning.A. The closure device on the top of the phone case covers up the port where the earphones plug-in you cannot have your phone in this case and use the plug-in earphones.B. There is a plastic protective cover included with the case to go over the front of your iPhone. If you have put on the glass cover sheet this additional plastic cover sheet makes the phone not respond as well to touch.So if you don’t care about the plug-in earphones you can cut the plastic sheet out of the protective device and you will probably just love this case. However, if you need to use the earphones you will hate this thing.

Price can't be beat. I love that you can face the phone either way against the clip case - Saves time if you need it face out, protects more if you want it face in. It was a bit difficult to separate but it closes up firm and offers good protection. The touch screen ability is fine but slightly dark tint. I'm sure the belt clip will break during a fall but same goes for all designs. The blue color is rather plain but unique. Less bulky than some otters.Update 7/31/19 The screen was scratched by car keys in my pocket. I should have flipped the screen side into the holder. Black replacement model is nice too!

Had it a couple months so far. Overall very pleased. Just what I was looking for > quick release phone holster w/360 degree rotation allowing for horizontal/vertical positioning on belt. Seems pretty durable thus far. Main issues w/ this style belt clip is durability of retaining clip/spring & whether or not top of belt clip - digs into your side. Would give this 5 stars re 1st issue & 4 stars re latter issue. If sitting in “bucket” seat in my car - clip still has some tendency to dig into my side - but, all things considered - it looks like the clip was designed as ergonomically as possible - given this type of design - -

The Encased enclosure for the iPhone 8 is a great product. As the name suggests the phone is fully encased with a cover for the face as well as a solid enclosure for the glass back. The edges are rubberized to absorb shock if the phone is dropped. Access to all the connectors and buttons is perfect. The enclosure is easy to open when installing the phone. The entire enclosure fits beautifully into the clip of the holster yet easy to get out with one hand. I like the color options. I chose blue. The phone sits nicely on the dash in my car now and the rubber back stops it from sliding around and falling on the passenger floor as it used to. The price is really amazing especially for the quality of the product. I am very happy with this purchase and have no hesitation in recommending the Encased products.

Case is sturdy. The face plate is plastic and not crystal clear. You cannot switch it out. Touching numbers and letters take force, and if you are texting or dialing letters get missed if you don't hit the keys hard enough. I wouldn't buy this again. I kept it too long to send it back.

Ok firs and foremost I love this phone holder, this is my third one, the weak link is the top clip that hold the phone in the case , after hundreds of time in and out with the phone and about two years of use this part tends to break, I don’t care to me it’s worth ordering another one, I love this holder! No doubt, if I was not so hard on this case , it would last a lot longer, you would not be disappointed with this item, oh a bonus! It turns into a stand! To me it’s a win, win. My fear is the company will stop making this thing.

After having my second very expensive iPhone 8 belt holster, from Best Buy, break in less than 2 years, I decided to search Amazon for options. The Shock Proof American Armor seemed to have all of the features I was looking for. I have only had the product for a few days. However, it does seem to be the real deal and is everything advertised. The case seems to be rugged (more so than my previous holsters). The screen protector is an added plus. Seems to be a really good value and compares reasonably close to products costing 4 times more.
