Double Dose Paperback – August 19, 2013

From page one I knew there was going to be a lot of drama and I wasn't wrong but I was damn sure surprised at the type of drama this book had to offer. From CoCo's crazy behind trying to hold on to a man who doesn't love her ( but doesn't want to let her go) to Nivea's trifling behind double scooping even with her husband almost losing his life to Brandy's needy behind accepting anything her baby's daddy throws her way including putting his hands on her I was caught up in it all. Adding the Deeds brothers to the mix just made it all the more exciting. With all of the scheming and backstabbing I didn't know who to hate more. The only person in this book I really felt sorry for was Jay and for some reason in part two I hope he and Brandy get together. This book was GREAT and I can't wait to get part 2.

Wow... This book had me seeing double literally. Three distinct ladies with different back grounds. First up coco u can take a girl out of the hood... This chick is straight up psycho. The stuff she put up with will make you want to slap the taste out of her mouth and hopefully knock commonsense into her. Because she sure lacked that when dealing with trifling trayvon. Next up brandy I felt somewhat sorry for her even when she make foolish decisions with regards to rob her baby daddy. Girl had a good mindset but lacked self esteem. Nivea girl your are plain selfish. I hope you get double pain for that situation u gotten yourself into. I love the suspense because There is a mystery that I thought I had solved but towards the end it just became complicated. I really don't want to give much away because I want others to read and see for them self. I double recommend. It's double fantastic......

The book centers around Nivea who is up to her nose in trouble. She doesn't know what to do with herself when she has sampled a double dose of the Deed brothers ( Jay Von and Von). There are some other interesting characters as well like CoCo, who is willing to fight and take down any hoochie who to tries to stake their claim on her man Von. Then there is Brandy, who is stuck in an abusive relationship and it is the Deeds brother who make her realize her self worth. There is a lot of double crossing going and down low hanky panky sessions as each character tests their boundaries. Overall, it was a good read and I will read the second part of this series.

Let me start by saying I have never read a book from the front cover to the back Cover..I always skip by the acknowledgements//dedication page straight to the first chapter lets just say double dose was amazing especially apryl testimony... everything about it... I love Nivea she was cool.. I enjoyed the book so much i started coming up with my own thoughts about whats gone to happen in part 2 ..BTW congrats and I can't wait for part 2... I knew the book was gone be amazing because anything Aleta put her name on A1 certified. Special congrats to Apryl u surely reminded me that i could do all things through Christ if i stand on his word and believe in myself

I LOVED and ENJOYED DOUBLE DOSE. It was SOOOOOOO GOOD. The TITIE FIT THIS BOOK to a TEE. JAYVON and TRAYVON were IDENTICAL TWINS, but DIFFERENT as NIGHT and DAY. JAYVON was a FAITHFUL HUSBAND and BUSINESS OWNER, while TRAYVON was a WOMANIZING HUSTLER. This JUICY STORY was FILLED with DRAMA/BABY MOMMA DRAMA, the ULTIMATE BETRAYAL, SECRETS, LIES, and MORE. It was a LONG, FULL LENGTH NOVEL, but NEVER a DULL MOMENT. READ in 1 SITTING, because I WANTED and NEEDED to KNOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN NEXT. The way it ENDED, I KNOW pt.2 is going to be JUST as GOOD and JUICY. APRYL COX and ALETA WILLIAMS did THEIR THING, EXCELLENT JOB. DOUBLE DOSE is DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.........

This was my first novel by these authors. I wasn't disappointed. Lots of twist and turns, and I couldn't put it down until my kindle died (LOL) ! The only problem for me was the errors ( not many, but they were there ) and that's why I gave it a four star rating. I would recommend this book to others and I will be reading part two to see where this goes. Over all it was a great story line and it flowed smoothly. Great Job ;)

I must say that this is a page turner. This is by far the best book I have read to date. I feel so sorry for Jay because somehow he is always getting caught up in Von bs. Nivea and Von smh!! Brandy im all for getting out of a bad situation but why go to a worse one. Travis is so sneaky n up to no good I hope they kill him. I read this book in less than 48 hours. Great job I can see the growth in your writing Aleta Williams coming from someone who read all of your books. I will definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great read.

For this to be the first book I've read by these authors, I must say that I'm impressed. This book is the perfect blend of real-life drama, raw emotion and forbidden sex - mixed in with moments of rude awakening - that'll hold your attention and keep you turning the pages. I feel the story was very well written - easy to follow along. Normally, I'm skeptical of novels issued by two authors, but these two have great chemistry. I'd definitely recommend this book to a friend, as a must read. Enjoy...
