The title says it all! To wire it up, all you need to do is put the two wires (with insulation) through the plastic thing and push it down. The wires are pushed down (in the same way as a Punch Down tool would do) and they get connected. So easy. Then you fix it to the wall and you are done.

So easy to fit and well made

Had FTTP installed and used the faceplate from this to replace the filtered faceplate to give a much neater unused socket.

This product is a direct replacement for older phone master sockets and works great. Just make sure if you are replacing and older master socket, you take a photo of where the cables terminate in the original, and copy it on this new one.

Easy to install with the snap connectors as a replacement for an existing socket, you may have problems with cable lengths, had to jiggle them to get the extension wires fitted. Remember it doesn't come with a back- box if it is a new installation

Poor design and tricky to install as wires tend to kink and break - I would not buy this again. Even the Outreach guy had problems.

Works perfectly, no loss on Internet speed compared to the test socket, no noise either, bought to replace the front faceplate which was faulty. Definitely the genuine article!
