CKPSMS Brand - #203470 Steel BOBBINS Compatible with CONSEW 225 226RB 227 Singer 111W 212W JUKI LU-562 + (20 PCS)

I purchased the 20 pack of CKPSMS #203470 bobbins for a very old Singer 111w153. The pack I received came in a small plastic box which barely contained the bobbins and which I don't think suitably large for once they are wound with thread, but I'll surely reuse the nice container for something else. The bobbins themselves appear to be fairly well made and I am grateful somebody is manufacturing some seeing as the machine I have only had a single bobbin. That said the original bobbin is beyond any doubt of a better quality. I believe the original is made of steel whereas these new bobbins are made of some softer alloy (perhaps aluminum?). As a result they seem to be more prone to warping. One of the 20 bobbins I received was already noticably bent, but the plastic box protected the others well enough that they arrived ok. I was able to manipulate the bent one with pliers (although given the shape it can be difficult to get it quite right... at a rate 1/20 mishapen I'm not upset). At the time of purchase the 20 pack of these bobbins seem to have noticably higher reviews than the exact same bobbins in different quantities: this is why I chose the 20 pack. I otherwise would have liked to have ordered a larger quantity. I now suspect some of the discrepancy in reviews might be due to the method of packaging? I think if they were shipped in anything weaker than the plastic box more would be likely to arrive bent.Altogether I'm pleased with what I got for the price. I sew with too many threads to get by with a single bobbin so these will get used and appreciated... but I'll also be keeping an eye out at garage sales for old bobbins. In this case it seems true that they "don't make them like they used to" but I'm happy they're still available and inexpensively.Full disclosure: I've not sewn with these just yet but am posting the review already because there is a distinct lack of any photos in the reviews for these bobbins so far. I took+am posting multiple. I don't anticipate any issues when I get the chance to actually sew with these but if they give me problems I'll come back to update the review.

These are great bobbins , I have a Singer 112 w 145 machine and the work great with it.

Nice bobbins

The bobbins fit and are compatible with my LU562 but they are just a little off of the originals I got with the machine. When I want to pull the bobbin out of the machine these don’t pop up quite as much as the originals so they are harder to grab on to. They must be just slightly thinner overall. I can still get them out if I pry with a small ruler I keep near my machine and pop them up a touch.
