## Description

This Amerex fire extinguisher bracket is manufactured of steel with a primed and powder coated paint finish. The paint finish assures many years of use and meets the latest UL salt spray requirements (240 hours at 20 percent salt solution–ASTM B117). This bracket is customized to fit the Amerex B386T, B355T, B402, B402T, B500, B500T, B409T, B453, B479, and B479T fire extinguisher models. It can be used to mount Amerex fire extinguishers in prominent, easy-to-find locations

A: Are you certain the diameter is 13.5 inches and not the circumference? My 5 lb extinguisher has a circumference of 13.5 inches and a diameter just over 4 inches...and it fits the bracket perfectly

A: This particular 818 vehicle bracket will NOT fit a 10lb extinguisher of any manufacturer. You will need to refer to the specific manufacturer of your extinguisher to determine the proper mounting bracket for that extinguisher.

**Q: Will the kiddie fire extinguisher fit this bracket?**
A: Kiddie extinguishers will not fit this particular bracket properly. The cylinder diameter of Kiddie brand is slightly larger making the locking latch not work like it is designed to with Amerex or Ansul extinguishers.

It did not fit my 2.5lb tank I got for my wife, this is designed for something bigger. It is easy to use and mounts pretty good in any universal mount. Again, I would recommend this only if you have space for something bigger than a 2.5 pounder.
