Columbia Women's ICE Maiden II Snow Boot, Black, Grey, 5 B US

It's hard for me to buy shoes online based on people's review. Well it happened that the store in town has this boots for me to see. Of course they didn't have my size so I tried on the size they have there. Anyways I went ahead and order the boots. Omg. I love it. It fits perfect with my true size. It's light and very comfortable on my feet. I need this for Colorado trip in March. This morning it's 30'degrees and I put the boots on with my regular socks and it kept my feet cozy and warm. I am so in love with this boots. They look good, comfortable, very light, true to size, and keep my feet warm and toasty. My feet didn't sweat. I aleays have cold feet but not with this boots on. You need to get this.

I bought these boots to replace 9 year old North Face boots that never fit quite right. I was hoping that these boots would be a better fit and warmer for Northern New England winters. I'm now questioning why I waited 9 years to replace the other ones! My normal shoe size is about a half size smaller but, it's hard to find a decent boot that isn't massively expensive so I figured the half size up would allow for thick socks. I was right. These fit just as I expected. They are comfortable, allow me to move easily, and they have kept my feet warm without a bulky feeling. What surprised me is that I ended up wearing them for several hours inside and my feet were not hot either. I'm delighted with this purchase!

I purchased these boots several months ago. I wanted to wait to post a review because I really wanted some good wear time prior to making an assessment. I couldn't be more pleased!!! All the positive reviews are correct. Comfortable, warm, very water resistant, and excellent traction on slick surfaces. They balance durable and attractive quiet well. I ordered an 11 and my true size is 11, I wouldn't order 1/2 size up b/c they are very warm, no thick socks needed. The laces are very well thought about, they slide open for removal easily and just a hard pull on both sides will snug them up quickly...easy on and off...no pulling on each individual section to get it all tight. I would HIGHLY recommend these boots to anyone!!

I wanted to wait until it snowed before writing my review but I just couldn't wait! I'll have to edit my review once it snows but so far this winter, we haven't had a substantial snow here in Chicago. That will be the true test, if my feet stay dry and warm as I trudge through snow. But in the meantime, I LOVE them. They are stylish. Extremely easy to slip on. They have kept my feet surprisingly warm. Again, once my feet are submerged in snow, I'll find out if they remain warm. Despite the other reviews, I ordered my true size (8.5) and they fit PERFECTLY. I haven't worn them with super bulky socks but it certainly feels like there would still be room for bulky socks. So far, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would recommend them.

I bought these for a trip to Denver, CO and other surrounding cities (including Breckenridge, Golden, Frisco, Georgetown, Manitou and Aurora). I walked all over downtown Denver, took a walking tour of Breckenridge, walked downton Manitou and these boots were surprisingly comfy. Despite the other reviews, I went for a size 6 (i'm usually a 6.5 in flats but a 6 in boots), and while the first day I had to stick to regular cotton socks because the boots were a bit snug, by the third day I was able to wear two socks or very thick socks. I'm guessing the leather allows for it to stretch and contour to your feet. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because despite a tag that says these keep warm up to -30, I was at 1 degree weather and even at 10 degree weather, I could feel the cold. Because I am from the tropics, I'm not sure if maybe there's a type of sock I should be wearing. I do have to say that despite my constant treading through snow, these kept my feet dry. They also clean nicely, look stylish and are just super cute. I highly recommend them.

I bought these boots for a trip to Scotland and I could not be happier! My feet were comfortable and warm the entire trip. We trudged in deep snow and slush, rain, puddles, cold and did a lot of walking. Even with a fairly thin sock, my feet stayed warm and dry. The comfort was great as well. The higher top kept it from rubbing on my leg or ankle. I just kept my pants tucked in them to keep them dry. Loved them!

Cute boot, fits well. Might be good for running errands, but not for walking, or staying out in cold weather. I was looking for boots that are waterproof and warm for walking my dog out in slushy wet snow. I stepped in an ice puddle and the water quickly came streaming in, soaking my foot in icy cold water. Had to go back and quickly remove boots, so my feet wouldn't freeze.

Great boots. Fit true to size. I’m usually 4 and a half but very hard to find shoes my size. I got the 5 and they fit very well. Just a bit of space at the tip but easily resolved with thick socks. Not bulky at all. Chic and cool boots !

The boots fit really well & look great! I love Colombia. They make great jackets & footwear.
