I can't say enough good things about Venta del Baron olive oil from Cordoba, Spain. It's absolutely the best olive oil I have ever tasted. There are many great olive oils in the world. From Greece, Italy, and Spain. But this Olive Oil, Venta del Baron is hands down the number one Olive Oil in the World. It's won numerous awards in Europe over many other olive oils. Flavour, texture and smell put me in heaven. The best over sliced fresh mozarella cheese and tomatoes (Caprese) and with hard, crusty bread. Totally blew me away. I'm very picky about olive oil and I'm not exaggerating one bit. This is fantastic oil and the people who produce it were very nice to deal with. They are very proud of their product and they care for their customers. Yes, you pay a little more for this olive oil but in my opinion, it's totally worth the extra cost.

Shipping (no reflection on the seller): 2/5 stars The tin (2.5 liters) arrived dented, but, luckily, not leaking or severely damaged. It was clearly marked FRAGILE but that seems to have mattered little to FedEx. Packaging: 3/5 stars The tin needed another couple layers of bubble wrap, or the larger bubbly wrap, to survive shipping completely undamaged. Other than that it was packaged well in a box and a thick plastic shipping bag.

very delicious oil. I have used this on salad, cooked the best home fried potatoes ever, made mashed potatoes and used this in place of butter and cream, on pasta as a finishing oil, and many other applications. I have used in place of butter in every dish. The taste is very good. This is a fantastic addition to my kitchen, and a healthier way to still eat delicious meals.

This is the best extra virgin olive oil I've ever tasted, hands down! You'll have a problem using your normal go to E.V.O.O. once you tasted this one! Yes it is a bit pricey, but it's a 10. For normal extra virgin oil use I suggest Corto, it's made and processed in California but I think it's a very good olive oil.

Believe all the reviews. This is the BEST evoo I have ever trued, and now use it permanetly since first ordering! There is no other product like it. I now use it for everything I eat and cook.

Not for the weak at heart. Green, with definite peppery after taste, which I love. But, if you like mild olive oil, this is def not for you.

If it did NOT taste pungent and bitter, I would have suspected fraud, the EVOO being diluted by another oil. I use the Vremi oil bottle to infuse the oil with herbs (home grown) and roasted garlic.

Non capisco come quest'olio abbia potuto vincere il premio come miglior olio di oliva del mondo . Profumo sicuramente eccezionale ma il retrogusto amaro e' imponente e sinceramente disturba . Si tratta ovviamente del mio gusto personale

Habe das Öl aufgrund des hohen Polyphenolgehalts bestellt. Es erfüllt alle Kriterien eines sehr guten Öles und schmeckt sehr gut. Es ist natürlich nicht gerade günstig aber auch nicht das teuerste.
