The Bag You've Been Looking For Your Entire Life.
I've owned some absolute shockers in my time. Bags advertised as rugged that have broken after a few weeks use. This bag is not that.To get technical, the main failing point of most bags I've owned is in the area where the straps meet the top of the bag. Cheap stiching always leads this area to break. This bag is double stiched slightly down from the top of the bag, a great design initiative that leads less pressure to be put on the top of the bag while carrying heavy weight. All round this bag feels tough, it's a great size, slightly bigger than my northern Ireland issue daysack (35L, which is also a great bit of kit, but now as a civvie you looks a bit like a twat cutting around in a full DPM rucksack). To me it doesn't feel much bigger but fits a suprising amount more gear in. It's also quite inconspicuous, I travel a lot and my main point in a bag is how mcuh punishment it can take. This can take a lot.For the price you cant beat this bit of kit! Go for it.

Strong enough to survice a bunch of teenagers...
Got this for the boy to use in his Scout trips. Wanted him to look the part and have a sturdy piece of equipment that wouldn't let him down.I have to say I've been impressed so far, a top piece of kit, strong and well put together. Has survived several weekends and a week away. Some of the others who bought less substantial equipment are having to replace them where this is almost unmarked - one buckle is scuffed though fully working and I have no idea how they did it...Only down side the 'legacy' day pouches off my old Vulcan about 20 years old don't fit, the zippers are the same but the pouches end up upside down. I suppose this is to encourage you to buy the new ones and not recycle :-)

Reliable and rugged
This is a great backpack made even better if you own a set of compatible side pockets. I've used it for hiking as well as travelling and it has yet to disappoint. One point to be aware when buying it of however is the lid. It is sewn on at the back instead of connected by webbing like many other similar packs. This means that over packing your bag will be quite difficult. Also, the lid pocket is quite small so you do lose a bit of the ability to organise your pack.Other than that, I see no flaws and the Centurio is one hell of a rugged pack that will be with your for a long time if you want it.

All you need rucksack
Great Rucsack shame it doesn't come with the side pockets but it's a good quality bag well made. The hipbelt could be better ie padded as with climbing bags but for weekends or longer trips away this is all you need and being MMPS compatible you have options on what you can zip to the side. Also it's got water bladder slots and carrier inside My 2litre source bladder fitted in easy.

Hydration confusion
-1 star because I am confused by the hydration situation. The MMPS hydration pouch has a single, central bladder hanging loop a la Camelbak, which is great as I already own a bunch of Camelbak kit. However the Centurio itself has *two* loops, one on each side of the hydration compartment! They don't even meet in the middle! What are we supposed to do with them? They don't even fit Berghaus's own-brand bladders! An otherwise excellent product let down by an inexplicable design decision.

well folded and looks very good. Bag is pretty straight forward 1 large compartment
Fast Delivery to Malta, with normal delivery it took just 2 days :)Product itself was well wrapped, well folded and looks very good. Bag is pretty straight forward 1 large compartment, 2 big straps on each side good for strapping foldable chairs or whatever while walking or to extend with 2 other 10 ltr (i believe) mmps packs and extend the bag's capacity. It has 2 zip pockets on the top straps in general look a very good quality build. Very happy with the quality-what you wold expect for a berghaus bag.

At first the shoulder straps are very stiff, but ...
At first the shoulder straps are very stiff, but after a few wears they relax. It is a very well made bag, plenty of space and with the optional add on's for more storage it will be worthy of plenty of use.
