I was struggling with psoriasis and very itchy scalp. I've tried many things, including prescribed steroid based gels that were giving just very short relief and required often application and sleep with them. I'm so glad I've found this product a while ago! Together with increased vitamin B12 intake it made a huge difference!! It's effective and with regular use I've forgot what psoriasis looks like! What I also love that it does not feel like some therapeutic shampoos being smelly and leaving your hair like it's still greasy. The conditioner helps in this regard for sure, all together having a nice, gently but lovely smell and helping the hair to look and feel clean too! It's not a huge bottle, but you actually don't need much - it spreads really well. I'm able to use a bottle for several months with regular use (3 times per week). So great longevity as well. Last time I tried to buy this product it was not available so I went with another one from Neutrogena - T/Gel Scalp Relief Shampoo but with 3 % Salicylic acid instead of 1 % here. In fairness, the 3 % questionably is more effective for me and has no smell. I definitely enjoyed the gentle smell of this one with conditioner so I will continue with this one with conditioner once I finish mine. Overall I'm very happy with this product and considering how much discomfort psoriasis brings to life - the value is simply imense. I suffer with Seborrheic Dermatitis which causes the most annoying head itching and scalp skin irritability. Sometimes even moving my hair can be painful so I hunted around for a gentle shampoo and conditioner (in one) that wouldn't make things flare up or feel any worse after washing my hair. This T-Gel is a great product. It leaves my hair feeling soft and clean and helps to keep my scalp calm and less inflamed. The smell has a faint reminiscence of coal tar soap but it isn't overwhelming and doesn't linger after washing and rinsing. I only wash my hair about once per week so this bottle lasts a while, so although it might be more expensive than other products, it works better than H&S (for me) and leaves my wavy/curly hair much more manageable after washing. I'll be sticking with this product for as long as I can or until my body does it's usual thing of deciding it's reacting differently to the same product that I've used for ages and I have to try something new.

Normally i use the shampoo only but bought this for my holiday to dubai. My wife suffers from psoriasis on her head and this helped with irritation and left hair feeling nice and smooth thanks to it being a 2 in 1. Highly recommend this and the 3% salicylic acid version.

This is brilliant. My husband and I both hit 26 and our dandruff just went crazy so I was looking for an alternative to my normal head & shoulders. Now, my hair also doesn't get greasy as quickly. Typically I would start seeing the oil a day after washing but now it's 2 days before the grease appears. I can also rinse my hair without shampooing just to get a gentle cleanse. It's only been a month since we started using it, but the effects are noticeable very quickly. I can only hope it continues to work.

The batch code indicates that this was manufactured 7 years ago. The carton bax was very old and torn, it couldn't hold the bottle. The bottle inside had a different batch code, and was very dirty - with a sticky dried liquid all over it. It looked as if this had been used, and the shampoo seemed to be missing a few ounces.

Maravilloso, tenía una especie de costra en el cuero cabelludo, me picaba un poco, ya usaba un champú de farmacia para cuero cabelludo sensible de buena marca, pero no terminaba de convencerme, este champú a la 3ra vez de usarlo tengo el pelo genial, sin picores y el cuero cabelludo limpio, ahora lo usa mi hijo que tenía caspa, ya no tiene nada, el pelo brillante y muy contento, lo volveré a comprar, como siempre Amazon buen embalaje y atención, GRACIAS!!!

This shampoo is a boon for me. I have oily scalp and dry ends. This works perfectly on me. It removes all the oil leaving my hair soft and manageable. So happy with it.
