UPDATE: As others already mentioned, heat can be an issue. Despite having a sun shade in the windshield, the sun heated the car enough for tiny “bubbles” (delaminations) to show up. That’s likely “stretch marks” due to the dissimilar expansion of the original plastic screen and the added glass. The latter is fine, as the bubbles are in the adhesive layer. Once there, they seem to stay even after the car cooled down, and another day of similar weather didn’t make it better or worse. So, if you’re in the South or anywhere with hot days (today we had 94F in NC) this may not be a long-standing solution. Of course, you may not need a screen protector to begin with. As it stands, and this is likely plain physics, but such product should have a disclaimer for high temperature swings.————original review————-Installation requires a clean surface and keeping fingers off the “sticky” side is crucial. I’m not the most skilled in guaranteeing that there won’t be any bubbles, but it went okay. (Mostly since I use a nanofiber cloth and lens cleaning solution followed by air blow-off.)Once installed, a rough portion of the edge (see picture) was visible and took away from an otherwise clean installation. The bubble is the result from the edge issues, but fortunately it’s not over the screen. I can massage it away for a moment, but the edge roughness brings it back after a few minutes.Lots of reviews mention heat issues, which is likely due to the different thermal expansion of the plastic screen and glass protector. That still has to become a problem for me, and I will update, but other "issues" are that the glass is naturally more glossy and fingerprints are still visible. Hence, there is no anti-glare coating and the "oleophoby" isn't preventing smudges (like basically any other device with similar claims.)
