HERB-OX Chicken Bouillon Cubes, 25 Count (Pack of 12)

I've recently start a ketosis diet. In short this means I eat under 30g of net carbs per day. This means I get low on sodium very easily. The normal amount of salt for a regular diet is 2500mg per day. But I need 5000mg per day on this diet. This means I have to add salt to a lot of things. This product has helped me meet my salt needs! IT tastes great just thrown into a cup of hot water. It tastes as though I’m eating soup and it’s a nice warm drink when it’s cold out. I bout this 12 pack because I go through them pretty quickly. I drink about 3 glasses of this per day. I have also made super great tasting soup with these and it’s wonderful. I don’t like using chicken broth because I feel like I pay for mostly water. With this you can make your own broth. I think it’s a better idea for the price. Buying it in bulk saved me money and they aren’t going to expire before I can use them all as long as they are kept in a cool, dry place. Although they do have a good amount of salt, they aren’t overly salty and make chicken soup that is wonderful. There are no weird added ingredients so this makes it a better choice for me because I’m trying to eat well.

I use the chicken bullion cubes in most of my dishes because it gives a good taste base to my dishes. It got harder to find in the grocery stores so I bought a different brand. My dishes didn’t taste the same. Something was missing, it just didn’t taste right. The dishes didn’t have depth or body to the taste. That’s the only was I know how to describe it. Anyway, I have it now and feel good about my cooking.

It made sense to buy this stuff in bulk. I use chicken stalk for cooking rice in the cooker. Always gives it an improved taste in my opinion, unless I'm making a particular white rice dish. This is a good value for bulk pricing and should last me the entire year and then some.

Our family is Gluten Free and this bullion and it's companion flavors has been so helpful. We eat a lot of soup in our house and this is a wonderful base to help fill out the flavors. It's hard to find a tasty, GF product that doesn't break the bank.This is so handy. Shelf stable, easy to use and really good. My whole family approves. Compared to what I was using before we went GF it's a super deal too. I love that Amazon has it in the auto-ship packages so I can stock up and save. I highly recommend.

This is hands down the best bouillon. Better than Better Than Bouillon, Wylers, etc., and all the various other popular bouillon. This is fantastic for soups or stews. I use them for giving my homemade chicken broth more delicious flavor. LOVE THIS BOUILLON! Delivered on a timely basis. Fresh with good use by date, which is always a concern I have when ordering food products on line. Packing was proficient. Will order from this vendor again.

When I discovered that gluten was causing many of my "chronic" health problems, I cleared out the pantry. One of my staples, onion soup mix, was the first to go. I'd used it a lot...for soups and stews and crock pot roasts. It was quite a loss for my cooking repetoire. No amount of seasoning, no matter what I did, quite replaced those flavors. That is, until I found this product! Now, I can add a few cubes and some dehydrated onions and have the flavors I crave! Of course, it makes a tasty stock for soups, too. It is great for gravies. I also use it when I make rice or boil potatoes. It adds that meaty taste that works so well in a side dish served with pork or beef. This product is a must-have for any kitchen, but, if you live gluten-free, it is mandatory!
