Drill HogSilver & Deming Drill Bit Set Index 33 Pc 1/2-1"

These work well. USA made have good luck with this brand.

The quality of these drill bits is some of the worst I’ve ever seen, the drill bits arrived unsharpened (honestly with our company was not a huge deal we were able to sharpen them). But after sharpening the material of the bits would not hold up through 1” cast iron. The description of the material on these bits is inaccurate and misleading.

The stand for drill bits is metal, very nice. All the bits accounted for, each in it's own wrapper. I tried the 1/2 inch bit using my battery powered drill at low speed on an old steel bed frame. I expected the drill to grab and twist my wrist but the bit cut easily and cleanly. Then I enlarged the hole to 11/16 and again was careful that the drill would grab but it cut cleanly without a problem. Normally I would use my corded 1/2", single-speed, high torque drill motor with two handles for drilling large hole but these bits did a great job with my 3/8 battery powered drill.

They are sharpend wrong and cut over size. I will have to redo them all !!

Worst set drill bits have bought had to sharpen some before using . Several twisted straight first time use. Several broke first time use. Would not recommend it ever buy again

A great product and great people to deal with

the bits seem good but the set came with 2 5/8" bits and was missing the 41/64" bit. they need to make this right. I sent a message through their contact web page but have not heard back yet.
