A solid feeling buffer with a strong motor. Seems well built to me.
I have used this to clean a basement floor made of vinyl tiles which hadn't been cleaned for many years. The last time I cleaned it I used a rental buffer which worked fine but was a pain to handle, transport and lug down the stairs. The floor went too long between cleaning (my fault of course) and was just all marred up with drag marks, stains and heal marks. After clean with heavy duty stripper the mop water was filthy but the stains remained. The prolux core with a 3m red buffing pad made short work of the stains and got the floor to look as good as it could look. I plan to use the prolux with blue micro fiber buffing pads to keep it clean going forward. Our home is all hard wood flooring and I will try it out in the next few months to see how well it cleans them. To use the buffing pad you lift the prolux and "drop" it onto the friction fit pad attachment but when you put the handle down that mechanism is so tight you really have push down which raises the base off the pad attachment resulting in a less than good fit. When you tilt it forward it re-engages the handle lock and you get to start all over. Arggh. It the one feature I dislike but, I really, really dislike it. I think I may take the spring out so the release pedal will go down with a light tap. Then to re-engage it I know I would need to tap it back into place when the handle is upright.

I give this a 1 star because the motor stop working and I only used it about 10 times
The machine itself was great but when the motor died I tried to contact the vendor but no response at all. The biggest waste of $400 I spent ever. Not happy with the companies service to try and fix the problem.

A quality piece of equipment.
It’s heavy to take out of the closet but then tipping it and using the wheels to move around is super. The controls are handy and it’s easy to maneuver. It has saved me time and back breaking scrubbing. It’s probably more than I need but my floors and carpeting look much better.

Great Machine for the Buck!
I have a 3200 sq. ft. building / barn that gets pretty dirty at times! I have been wanting a commercial scrubber for a while but they are just to expensive for what I need it for until I came across this one! I just spray a part of the floor with water and cleaner mix and let the blue machine do its majic! Then I mop it up with a commercial mop and sqeeze bucket and you can eat off the floor it's so clean! Easy to clean up and store! Would buy another one in a heart beat! I've only put about 10 hrs on it but it worked great and I'm ready to add some additional pads to it so I can wax the floors etc....

Decent but not worth the price
Its easy to use but the pad tends to come off often. The brush don’t seem to spin just rattle and shake until it comes off. It could be a little heavier too. I would recommend finding something else, i might just do too. I miss the full size buffers from my Army days, they got the job done with less effort.

Worked well, brush head needs to be secure
Did a quick trial run on part of kitchen tile - first time really cleaning grout in a number of years.Easy to set up, worked well. Brush head did vibrate loose, but not sure if it was me or the cleaner, so need to make sure it is attached very securely, but otherwise, seems like a good quality product. Used with ZEP grout cleaner. First pass rinse/clean with fantastic, 2 rounds of ZEP with the buffer. Saved me hours of work already.

Prolux works great on tile
My only negative comment is the handle is difficult to tilt up and down but as far as cleaning it does s great job on my tile floors. This is better than any other cleaner I have used.

It’s already burning up
I haven’t even had this a month yet and today was my second time using it and it has already melted the plastic on the brush. I am doing everything it says to do and I don’t force it in any direction. I’m sure this is great for just scrubbing dirty floors, but it doesn’t do a lot for grout. I have better luck and it’s quicker just to scrub my grout by hand. My entire house is tile too so I had high hopes for this. Waste of money because I already threw the box away
