This universal adapter is a great product. I bought it specifically for a trip to Argentina and it worked perfectly everywhere. I have a collection of different adapters for use in various countries but this one can replace the whole lot. It offers a variety of different input and output formats, covering every type of socket I've come across throughout the world - including North & South America, Europe, Far East, Australia and New Zealand. It is incredibly simple to switch to the format required. Plus, it also has 4 charging slots for phones, tablets, laptops, etc., so can easily be shared by people travelling together. It is solid and reliable, but still lightweight for travel.The only situation where I believe it won't work is in countries still using unearthed sockets of the two flat blade type, as the earth pins in this adapter are fixed (for safety reasons). I suspect that there are no longer many such countries.Great value for money.I had to contact the seller and their customer service is excellent.

Really pleased with this purchase. I bought this one because it was the only one I could find with an earth connection. To be honest, a lot of the others on the market don't look that safe to me having done some research into this!It comes in a good looking box so would make a quality gift for any frequent traveller.Love that it has 4 smart USB ports, so they automatically adjust voltage to whatever device you're charging. The USB ports alone mean I'll actually use this at home, not just when I'm away.The EU adaptor confused me, I emailed the supplier to ask why it had to be disconnected from the re-settable fuse for GB to EU power, but apparently there's some EU regulation reason - I got a really speedy response from customer services! You can still plug the resettable fuse part in the EU so you can use the USB ports if you want, you just won't be able to stick a 3-pin GB plug in at the same time.Hope this is helpful.

Wouldn’t travel without it

I have been on the search for a new travel adapter for some time and this fits the bill perfectly. It's nice and compact, easy to use and best of all - has enough USB ports for me to plug in my phone, camera and power charger. The adapter is of great quality too - not cheap or flimsy - and all of the connections are nice and solid (compared to other sorts where they don't lock 'out' and then don't stay in the plug in the wall). I am really pleased with this purchase and as noted, the USB ports and multi-use facility of it make it my new travel companion!

I recently took this to Vietnam and Cambodia and it had adapters for every type of outlet I needed even on the reunification express train. It was useful to be able to charge four items (phone, iPad, battery pack and fan) all at the same time and not take up more than one plug socket. Due to being slightly larger than a normal plug it was sometimes a bit wobbly in the socket but I just propped it up and it was fine. Great for charging at the airport and I am still using it now I've got home. I was glad it came in a small case.

This adaptor is the best travel companion! Its clever design means that it allows for use in multiple countries with the one adaptor, and it fits into itself and comes with a handy case for protection and travel.The 4 USB ports mean you don’t have to carry around 4 different adaptors or wait for something to charge before charging the next.Super easy to use and the different plugs glide into place, you don’t need to force it or do anything complicated to configure it to what you need.Also when you think you’re only paying for one adaptor that does all this, you can see why it’s such good value for money.So glad I found this; I would highly recommend!

I'm the kind of person who likes to have certain things always packed in my travelling case - mostly adaptors and cables etc. I've only ever needed just a European or US adaptor but I'm off to South East Asia and will encounter three different plug options, and don't really want to take nine million adaptors, so this fits all of the bill. Plus I like the idea of being able to reset the fuse if it shorts out etc.I'm really impressed by how quickly it arrived, and the well built robust nature of the adaptor. It certainly has everything I'll ever need and I love that I can just remove the European adaptor if that's all I'll need. 4 USB ports is also probably all I'll ever need.I haven't travelled yet, but have tested the adaptor in the UK before going in a few weeks and it charged my phone really quickly.My only slightly negative comment is that it's quite heavy, but from my research this seems to be the weight of any decent multi purpose adaptor - and it's only because I'm trying to keep everything to the minimum (except Compeed!!) that I even noticed!

What a fantastic little adaptor! We are spending 3 months travelling Asia and decided to buy this little adaptor as it had 4 integrated USB ports meaning we didn't need to bring a separate charger. So far, its has performed flawlessly. The 4 USB ports allow superfast charging for all devices and the array of connections means it can plug in to power outlets in any of the countries we've visited. Not hassle, no fuss. And it's surprisingly lightweight. With the added RCD protection, it's one of our best travel purchases to date. Cannot recommend this enough. 5*
