Love this Whedon Aerator w/Levor Control!
I've used an old rubber spray/aerator on my faucet for years. When it got pretty awful looking after a couple of years, it took some looking around to find another--unfortunately it wasn't as well built as our old one and broke in the first week. Luckily we still had the old, yucky one to replace the "new" one. I looked around for quite a while and couldn't find a rubber one that was as well made as our old one. I saw products in the stores that looked similar to the Whedon, but they were cheaply made and plastic. Our old rubber one was starting to fall apart and I got desperate and started looking at all the aerators and reading all the reviews--I needed one badly! I found this Whedon with the levor control and saw that it was made in the USA with quality products and got good reviews. I was a bit hesitant since it seemed a bit pricey (compared to the $3-4 ones in the stores), but if it was as good as claimed, I figured I'd give it a shot. I can't tell you how pleased I am with this product! I've used it for the last 4 months and I love the way it feels--so solid; swivels nicely to reach all corners of the sink; easily changes from stream to spray; and being able to turn the water off and on with a simple flick of the lever while doing dishes or cleaning fruit and veg is a joy. Of course you don't use the lever as the primary on/off switch for the faucet full-time...just use it while doing cleaning tasks to temporarily stop the water--saves wear & tear on the faucet handle. I don't have a dishwasher, so in addition to my gel-mat, this aerator makes doing dishes less of a chore. So far I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of this product and would recommend it (keeping in mind that my kitchen faucet is one of the higher gooseneck faucets--if your faucet is close to the sink, know that the unit will hang down about 1 1/2" or so.)

All Plastic And Lasted about a Year
I got the "Whedon Products SU6C DLX SPR Swiv Aerator" February 28th of last year (2021) and it lasted about a year before the outer ring cracked clear through and I had to replace it (March of 2022). It functioned fairly decently at first but occasionally sprayed water front the swivel joint & lever. The main problem is this thing is pretty much all plastic and will just not last. Frankly, I was lucky to get nearly a year out of it seeing how cheap the materials are. And the crazy thing is, it doesn't even cost less. It costs the same as all the other aerators at $11-$13.BTW, I got the "Waternymph Hibbent Dual-function 2-Flow Faucet Aerator" as the replacement and it lasted only 4 months before it started leaking and spraying water from the swivel ball joint. Thought it was an all metal aerator but turns out the swivel joint is made of plastic painted to look like metal. Yeah, it didn't even last as long as the all plastic Whedon Aerator. Finally, I got the "Hibbent Dual-function Female Faucet Aerator, 1.8 GPM Extra Big Angle". An all metal aerator that turns out to be the OG version of the Waternymph knock-off (that's why they called theirs the "Waternymph Hibbent"). It's superior in every way and should last a long time (fingers crossed). Oh btw, they all cost the same ($11-$13). So do yourself a favor and get the all metal OG Hibbent aerators and avoid the plastic ones and the knock-offs (I'm talking to you Waternymph!).

The REAL deal!
This is the real deal folks! The one we had prior to this one is the same brand, but we got it at our local hardware store, and it lasted a really long time...many years! We finally had to replace it due to leaking. The on/off lever works great...it does not shut the water off entirely (package doesn't say it does), but it's just a very light thin stream. Switching from spray to stream is easy too (pull down or up on the nozzle). And very easy to install.

Excellent choice, especially if you lack a kitchen sprayer hose
I bought this aerator about one year ago, after moving into an apartment that lacked a separate kitchen sink sprayer. I first tried a similar swiveling spray aerator from a local store, but I quickly returned it when its mostly plastic construction worked poorly (and would probably break in little time, anyway). This aerator is much better. The mostly metal construction -- particularly the swivel joint -- operates smoothly, and it has shown no sign of wearing out after a year of daily use and rotation. For the specific features:- The swiveling function works great for sweeping food waste into the garbage disposal.- The lever is very useful during washing and rinsing of dishes. You can quickly drop the flow of water to a trickle, and then go back to the full stream of water, without having to readjust the hot and cold knobs.- The spray function is available if you need it, although I do not use it much. The ring that you pull down is rather stiff, and you have to use two hands. The positive side is that you are not going to switch between the stream and spray modes inadvertently.Overall, I highly recommend this aerator to anyone who has a kitchen sink without a separate sprayer hose.

Outstanding!
Such a small gadget for such a big solution! This is pure genius and I would induct it into the hardware hall of fame, if there were one. This was so easy to install and works brilliantly. Reviewers are right, if you're not careful, you will get sprayed but it's pretty easy to avoid this once you see how it works. What is so terrific, is the mini-lever that gives additional spray control (in addition to the regular sink faucet knob). For anyone moving into a low pressure apartment, home or living situation, this is a game changer. Highly recommend. It is durable and affordable. I wish this company made shower head adapters!
