This is a great book to learn more about the community of Scotsmen who immigrated early into South Carolina. It contains a great deal of useful family information as well as minutes of meetings. These minutes make for very interesting views into the lives of pioneer families.

This is a must have for those of us who had family that attended this church! Do a bit of research before you purchase to be certain that your family is listed. (Check a library that has a large collection of genealogical material.) For me, it was quite powerful to look at the names of my ancestors and know that they were present and taking communion on certain dates. I purchased the book to pass on to the next generation as a permanent record that they are part of several families that not only fought in the Revolution, but lived normal lives right there in Chester County, SC.

Great source of information about the early families in South Carolina, circa 1780 on... but it is hard to read a good portion of the book because of the hand-written script.
