Allen Company VersaCarry ZeroBulk Ambidextrous Inside The Waistband Gun Holster for .38/.357 Revolver/2.5-Inch Barrel

The website for Versacarry says to get the 2” barrel – I did – it don't fit. The 2.5” barrel Versacarry is a perfect fit for the 605PLYSS2 revolver, because the longer clyinder need the 2.5 even though the barrel is 2”. It takes a bit of getting used to, but is a very functional IWB holster. You can wear it without a belt – but it will take 2 hands to draw – so that the Versacarry stays IWB. The instructions DO call for a belt – it has a slight lip that catches against the belt to keep it IWB. You cannot re-holster without taking the holster off. This is a concealed carry holster with no added bulk. There are plenty of videos on the web to get a good view of this holster and the best way to clip your gun in safely.

Great EC holster. No real sweat protection an no way to re-holster safely without using two hands, but if you're a minimalist like me it's great. There is ZERO added bulk and it's the most comfortable holster system i have used. You don't even need a heavy gun belt. If you're the type that likes to show everyone your CCW piece this isn't for you. If you want to carry discretely, this IS for you.

Had to order the 2.5" for my Taurus 85. I am very pleased with the comfort. I am especially pleased how the holster snugs the revolver towards my body. This allows for minimal printing. Awesome design. Please design a full trigger coverage for pistols.

I have used other versacarrys and this one for revolvers is hand down the best. I ran around the park wearing this and an lcr 9 in board shorts. Almost forgot it was even there. The trigger guard cover is pretty much perfect. I had rigged a kydex trigger guard on a different carry gun. amd this is so much better!

Bought this for a Taurus 357 Poly Pro and it fits well. Often I will take the revolver trigger guard off and carry my KelTec PF9 with it (the barrel inserts are the same size for .38, .357 and 9mm). It even fits and retains my Glock 23 (which is a .40 cal) fairly well. When I carry an auto, I use a separate trigger guard (like a Mic from Glocktech) and tie the chord to the VersaCarry. This allows for a very minimal profile, but the gun - and trigger - are secured. But it can also be safely removed as a package (without unholstering) so I can store it in a glovebox or something. The belt clip is strong and effective. The tension or retention does lesson some with use, but I still feel it is at least as secure as my leather holster. Good price here, too.

Have ordered these before for pistols and no problem. This one for a revolver broke trying to free up, fit barrel so tight.Tried to glue no luck. Should have sent back for refund or replacement but thought could fix but wrong..

Did not like the trigger guard. On the other hand, if one is to carry a fully loaded, no safety revolver, one should know not to touch the trigger, especially on the draw. Using the barrel retention rod only, works just fine for me with a snub-nose .38. I DO use the trigger guard on my semi-automatics. I have several VersaCarry holsters and just love them. It's the only way to carry in a hot Texas summer if you want something larger than a pocket pistol.

I was really skeptical about this product I have a leather versa carry holster and I love it. I am really impressed with this little guy! It's light weight, draws clean and is comfortable. I carry a .38 snubnose so the issue with a loaded chamber isn't an issue.
