Sally Hansen Nail Nutrition Green Tea + Bamboo Nail Strengthener, 0.45 Ounce

As someone who’s dealt with thin, peeling fingernails for many years, I’ve tried a variety of nail-strengthening products with varying results. Some did nothing at all; others such as Barielle nail strengthener and Sally Hansen’s own Complete Care 7-in-1 worked quite well, but became too viscous and thick to use after a short time. Fortunately, Sally Hansen Green Tea + Bamboo Strength turned out to be the holy grail of nail strengtheners for me. It’s not as thick and doesn’t congeal in the bottle after a few uses like the other products. And it really works! Using one or two coats on my bare nails fairly regularly — around once every 7 to 14 days for several months — has stopped the peeling and made my nails a lot stronger even when I’m not wearing it. (Full Disclosure: I also take 5,000 micrograms of biotin every day, but it’s been my experience that using a good topical nail strengthener increases the efficacy of the internal supplement.) I’m glad that Sally Hansen still makes Green Tea + Bamboo Strength — and since it’s been very hard to find at local stores lately, I’m especially glad that it’s still available on Amazon.

This product was recommended to me years ago. When I was first told about this nail hardener, I didn’t believe it would work. But it does.

I usually dont write reviews but i just gotta say this is fire. i always used acrylics bc my nails arnt sturdy (which left my nails even worse) and with this stuff i grew then longer than i literally ever had in my whole life. i did chip a nail like 1 or 2 times on a month with this on but compared to how my nails were bf im blown away. im definitely buying a second bottle

my nails were so short that it hurt. they would break, chip, peel you name it they did it. this stuff worked in the matter of 1 day! I have been using it for about a week and a half now. I put it on every other day just on my nail with no other paint, in the morning and it dries so fast. my nails are starting to get stronger and they are not as fragile. I will be using it forever now! HIGHLY recommend

I only used it a few times so I never got a chance to see results. This is because the bottle broke and made a huge mess all over. Shards of glass and sticky gunk all over my floor. I wish it would’ve lasted longer.

It took about 2 months for m6 nails to heal and grow, but it was noticeable. I used it every time I did ny nails and it really worked. I recommend this product 100%!

So I asked folks in the "Ask a question" section. if this was a laquer(nail polish) and was told that no, it's just a treatment, so I bought it, then a factory rep came along and said that it IS in fact a laquer. I'm supposing the formula might have changed recently. but be aware that it is indeed a nail polish.Please Sally Hanson, bring back the formula that wasn't a polish! Some of us don't like nail polish!*Sigh* I gave it a 3 star rating because I'm sure it's fine at what it needs to do, but it's NOT what I wanted.

I don’t like false nails I grow my own and this keeps them a little stronger

I always pick at my nails especially after having acrylics because that weakens my nails. This nail polish saved my nails by strengthening them to the point that I actually couldn’t peel and pick at my nails. Also dries super quickly! Love it!

It's an absolutely brilliant product. My nails are so brittle and break easily and this has sorted them right out! I've been using it for about a month now, and my nails are stronger than ever! Would recommend using.

Love the product. Quick drying and helps a little with the strength. Haven't seen much improvement but still prefer to use it over other products; mostly because it goes on smooth and not bulky like some other products
