Great for my greenhouse
This white shade cloth was bought to help bring down sizzling summer temperatures in my 10 x 12' greenhouse. It wasn't hard to install on the roof and strap to side cleats. So far, it's holding up to high storm winds and has brought the temperature down about 5 degrees. It's only been on for about a month though, so time will tell. The price is low enough to buy one annually if it doesn't hold up to our extremely stormy coastal NC summer weather.

Really good quality, true 40% shade cloth, much better than nearly all others sold on amazon
Here's a photo of it compared to another brand sold on amazon and the difference is night and day. White is this produce the be cool solutions. Black is another brand, with the same dimensions and rating. This produce is significantly thicker, much better quality, and true 40% rating. Many on amazon make up numbers to sell their product and the actual uv light blockage you get is random and unknown , resulting in more or less light blockage than you are actually intending to block . This product is slightly more expensive than others but the quality is significantly better and feels like it will hold up a lot longer. Each piece is hand prepared by this company, and treated with UV protective coating to help it last longer. Buy nice or buy twice! This stuff is great and the quality improvements compared to the price are definitely worth it. I wouldn't consider any lesser brand if I were shopping for this in the future.

Very nice shades and perfect size
I buy dark colored 50% shade for heat reduction in my garden in Phoenix AZ. Some come as the size ordered and some aren't close. My wife wanted white ones for our new garden space and these fit the need and came highly recommended from Angela of Growing in the Garden fame. Anyone I really like these. Much better quality. Heavier material, the correct size, evenly spaced tie down points. And they do make the garden pop in appearance!!!

Very Well Made
This is very well made with reinforced stitching and heavy duty grommets. Size we ordered was 12' x 20" to cover a small section of our garden. Definitely blocks the amount of sun it states and reduces temperature underneath. The south Texas sun can be murderous but this tones it down very well.

easier to drape over a cattle panel structure than building a pole structure
Let me save you a lot of aggravation and $$. I planned on building a 3/4 inch galvanized pole (non-threaded) frame using connecters I bought on amazon, which were good products, and then bungee the shade cloth to it. I sank the poles in the ground about 1 1/2 feet or so. I measured out 12x20 for the cloth and put in the corner poles. (I ended up using 6 support poles total since 20 ft is a long distance without a support for the conduit. I wrapped the bungees around twice for a tight fit. I thought this would be so easy. The cloth sags ALOT because there is slack in the cloth itself (?). The binding with the grommets I guess doesn't stretch much. I have to run nylon rope across the frame now to hold the cloth up. Also, I bought 2 cloths. The 12x16 ft measures 11.5x15.5 ft. I didn't expect that in all my calculations. I tried to hang the cloth about 7 feet high. So unless you have a super-handy helper or you are very skilled, don't go this route. Use T-posts and Cattle panels. Or 3-4 inch square posts in concrete. I saw that on YouTube and they still had to criss-cross support wire under it. I didn't want to use concrete. You don't have to run the cattle panel all the way to the ground. My other cloth will be for a cattle panel structure and I hope it goes much smoother. I tried to research this as much as I could but oh, boy. It will still work for what I need but I sure don't want to start over and spend more money on another frame. The galvanized 10 ft poles were $12 each/2022 prices and I used 12. Dang. I have all the cattles and T-posts I need on our farm!

Helped my plants in Texas
I live in north Texas and my patio faces the south. It gets very hot and there is a lot of direct sun. I bought this to reduce heat a bit and protect my plants. It has been very hot this summer, & my plants have suffered some, but this shade cloth has helped them immensely! It is cooler and shadier underneath & my plants are still flowering and growing. We have been under a drought this summer, but it has stayed securely tied up in the wind.
