Vtech 2-line Accessory Handset for DS6151 (Cordless Telephones/DECT 6.0 Cordless Phones)

Works wonderful with my older phone! Nice to be able to buy replacements instead of having to buy a whole new phone system!

I purchased this handset as an add on for the 2-line system I have had for almost 2 years. It was easy to assemble and the basic instruction was on the handset screen when I plugged in the battery. Simple instruction, easy to understand and almost foolproof. Within 5 minutes the handset was paired with the existing system and in operation.

We moved our office and only had one wired land line. We called Optimum to come and run addtional lines to each employees desk. The guy shows up to install the cable but tells us he cannot run the lines. He says some else is coming "later" and by "later" he must have meant never. No one showed up that day, we called, no one called us back, we called again, someone was supposed to call to set up another appointment... never happened because Optimum does in fact $uck. So since we had only one line, we ordered a wireless system and plugged the base phone in the one phone outlet we had, and then purchased wireless modules for everyone's desk. BTW - Optimum charged us $150 for the installation that never happened. Took us 3 months to get the credit back. But that is another story for another day.

These phones can handle some serious abuse. I drop everything all the time. Sounds good, easy to use,and you can go quite a distance from the base without losing connection

It's a phone that I ordered for the office, so it's hard to get too amped about it, but I have to say it was a pretty solid purchase. Set up was easy and I don't have any complaints. I went for this model because it could accommodate two lines.

I bought this entire system, base and 6 additional handsets to replace an older Panasonic 2 line system. This VTech system was so highly rated that I went on faith and bought. TERRIBLE!! Where to start.....the charging base of these handsets is cheap, flimsy plastic, weighing about 3 oz. The handsets continually fail,, showing a message saying Not Connected to Base......every time that happens, which it has on most of the handsets, I have to open the handsets, remove the battery, let the piece of junk reboot, replace the battery and THEN it works for a few more weeks. The menu functions are so hopelessly (and unnecessarily) complicated. I keep the book right under the base unit just to answer the questions that come up.NEVER AGAIN......this has to be one of those products that have paid reviewers posting positive reviews. Total piece of junk.

This item is exactly as described. It is very easy to syn with your current phone base. Just as a piece of information for those who choose not to read the instructions thoroughly. When you get this handset, place it on the actual base of the main base not the small one that comes with this handset and then press the buttons on the actual base to connect it before hitting the button necessary on the new handset you just received. While not difficult to realize our mistake at first, thought the small piece of advice might assist the next person when they get theirs! :-)

We needed a two line phone for our business. One is dedicated to a fax, but we can also use it for outgoing calls. We've been looking for a few years and finally found this one that had pretty good reviews and a great price. We have seven handsets Plus the base. We are extremely happy with everything about it.

This telephone 2 line system was all that it described itself to be. The reception is terrific and the handsets pick up the signal everywhere in our three storey home. The Vendor shipped out the package right away and it was delivered before the stated delivery date. No complaints whatsoever. I had used the Panasonic 2 line phones for years, but they never performed like the V-Tech does.
