The box was very pretty, however, I don't know what song it plays but I can assure you it's not Amazing Grace. Lol

I bought this for (who else) my grandma as a Christmas present last year. I wanted something that I could personalize, but I also liked the insert that is already had, so what I did was to put a picture in the place where pictures go and I took out the insert and taped it over the picture so when she opened it she could read what it says and lift it up to see the picture I used. Needless to say, my grandma wept like a willow tree. She couldn't have loved it more.This is a great gift for any grandmother for any occasion, I can assure you it will not disappoint. One thing you will want to consider is the size. It's not going to hold a ton of jewelry, but I feel like it's more for special pieces, so that wasn't a concern of mine, but it is something you'll want to make sure of before purchasing. As long as you're alright with the size then you'll love this item.

I gave this to a co-worker when her grandma passed away and she was very close to her. She was over joyed! The music box is beautiful! Great gift.

My grandmother just went crazy over it. She loved the color and was thrilled to have it as soon as she opened it.

It looks just like the picture. You can even put your own picture where the saying is. I didn't know that.However, the song plays REALLY fast. I know what amazing grace sounds like. and when you open this box, it doesn't sound like amazing grace at first. You have to really listen cause it plays so fast. I had to tell my grandma what song it was cause she didn't know... and amazing grace is her favorite song. Other than that, it's adorable.

2015 was my grandmother's first Christmas without my grandfather in 65 years. She received this music box as a gift from all of her grandchildren, and could not have been more delighted! I worried that it might seem impersonal, but she loved it and couldn't wait to show it to her bible study group. Some reviews stated that the box was much smaller than expected, but in my grandmother's hands, it appeared to be average, if not large (maybe I just have a tiny grandmom). Delivery took forever, but I ordered on December 21st and didn't really expect it to arrive before Christmas. Would purchase again.

It's cute. A great sentimental gift. But it has very little space available to actually use it as a jewelry box. It's basically a music box with a little Space to put something special in. But the person who received the gift was very happy with it bc of the sentimental value alone. It didn't come banged up or in bad shape and the music plays just fine.

Beautiful!!! Bought for myself.....I know: "LOL" on me....but touches my heart, as I think of my Grandmothers, only one to whom I had any closeness in my life. I wish that I had seen such ads in the 1970's....and took my young eyes as first time wife and first time mother the following year off myself and onto the beloved and loving Grandmother I had some closeness during my youth. The music box works well and holds the treasures she had given my mother....who later gave to me. Truly, a little treasure box for three...and if God wills,future generations.The ainting of gray wood and lovely flowers and senitment.
