Finally! This is a genuine Duncan. Very very easy to control. It will sleep when you want it to sleep, and it will bind and snap back when you twitch it (the silicon has got to be seriously sticky) just like this type of freestyle yos should. The Drifter has a counterweight that has the capability to be used by advanced yo throwers, those counter balance tricks just blows my mind.. meh, maybe someday, but it also responds beautifully for straight responsive tricks. This one is the real deal. The only gripe I have is the "color may vary".. I got orange? Ick! I was hoping for aluminum and black -or any other color- than orange. Anyway, it throws fantastically. The color of the yo doesn't interfere with it's most excellent performance. This yo performed like a Duncan should. Buy it..When I ordered this yo, "colors may vary" I crossed my fingers and thought to myself, 'any color but that orange'.. Dang..

High quality anodized aluminum with sturdy string. The ball bearing on this this spins very free so free it’s hard to wind the string easily. Gotta give is a light wrap so the string doesn’t slip on the bearing.

so far my favorite yoyo. added a little oil and it sleeps even longer. its responsive if thrown hard but not so much if its slowed down a bit. also if you throw a sleeper and it goes a bit to the side, it might have issues coming up as well. but the trick is is to line up with the yoyo with your string. can also learn how to do binds which are used to bring up unresponsive yoyos.its metal and a butterfly shape. so can hurt a bit if you bring up while its still sleeping at a fast rate. I like to slow it down a tad prior by walking the dog or just letting it sleep before bring it up. being a butterfly shaped as well as responsive. great for all tricks. although if I am just doing some basic non string tricks, I like to bring out my brain or fireball. but If I want to do some string tricks as well then I use this. I love how this yoyo looks and feels.also comes with a counterweight so you can do some freehand tricks. the only disappointment is that it did not come with an extra strings or even the sticky pads to help bring it back up. at least an extra string. but overall I still give it a 5 star, as it was not in the description that those were included.for the price and the performance this does, definitely worth getting.

I never had a sleeping yoyo before so I looked up metal yoyos and found this. It took over a week to ship because it was shiped from kansas when I live in arizona.when I got it in the mail I was so excited I opened the box and tried it out and it worked perfectly.but the string lasted me an hour so I suggest you buy extras.but you cant do more than three tricks at a time. its more for beginners.I suggest you add this to your colection. great grip and long spin times.BUY IT!!!!

I dnt know if this is a begginer yoyo but if so its ease and balance and ability to gain control with one or two pulls gives a fun playability that despite your level is enjoyable for the money idk if its expensive or not but i wouldnt nt thought of spending 20 $ plus when i was a kid but times are different and iam 50 years old asbig kid its a good time for the value..

This is a really good yoyo! I am not really much for "off the string" play, but I'm starting to get into it... so this yoyo was a great choice. It works well for traditional looping, sleeping, etc... and it comes with a counter-weight for those who like the other style of play. My only complaint is that I wish that I could have chosen the color. Mine is orange, and I would have preferred the color shown in the picture. I assume that you may get a choice if you add a color preference in the comments when you place your order. A+ for this yoyo anyway!
