Works fine, but does mean that it's easy to forget how to achieve certain functions. The audio quality is fine for listening to podcasts, audio books, sermons, but isn't that great for music (rather thin, tinny sound). I did find that using foam earplugs helped reduce road noise to the point I could hear music much better. Water resistance is good. I got stuck driving through a torrential downpour for a couple hours on a long road-trip: the unit acted a little funny at the end of that day but I let it dry overnight and it was fine. Great battery life! Review: Handy Device to Have on the Road, but Could be Better - Mounted this to an HJC I-70 helmet (full-face with speaker cutouts) and ride a Harley Sportster with V&H baffled exhaust. I can hear things pretty well at all speeds, though music does distort just a bit at the volume needed for highway cruising. Navigation is nice at all speeds. Syncs to my Android 8/9 phone easily and reliably. Battery life is amazing Came charged with 1 bar under full, I charged for an hour before use and it was still at 1 bar under full, and have used it for roughly 8-9 hours so far in Texas heat, mostly on standby with no music, navigation, or calls active (but I was reachable via phone), and it's still at 1 bar under a full charge. As other reviewers have noted, the clip is a bit cheap. However, proper installation helps. It took some wrestling with tog et it situated right so the clip wasn't being strained or anything and works great after spending 5 minutes on it. This helmet has an internal sun visor with a slide-mechanism to operate it on the left side at the bottom of the helmet, so I had to install this a bit further back, it sits basically behind my left ear. The unit gets pushed up and a little off the fully seated position in the clip when I set the helmet down (the table contacts the unit before the helmet, barely), but a little care when setting it down is all it takes. Overall, it's good. I didn't want to pay the price for great, so good was expected. This didn't disappoint. Only have one unit and ride solo so I cannot speak to the intercom functionality, but I will buy another one of these for two-up communication soon.

Works great, exactly what I needed at a good price
This is exactly what I wanted and needed. It works well to play music, listen to GPS directions, and have a phone call. The FM radio even works, but you can only change the station by scanning forward. Sound is great, phone quality is great, and the battery life is fine and charges super quick. The clamp clip (not adhesive) can slide a little bit, but still holds securely and causes no problems, so I never installed the adhesive one. All of this for a fraction of the price of some other units.

Great for intercom and not much else
As a strictly intercom unit, it works fine! Connecting with other devices is pretty straightforward. Speaker quality is mediocre at best but plenty loud to be heard at highway speeds. For music or connection with your phone, DO NOT get this device. I’ve had it for two days and tried every trick in the book to get music streaming to work reliably but it’s extremely choppy and connecting to your phone is a huge pain.

Woah! I was a little hesitant to purchase this but it works great. At street speeds you can definitely hear very clearly even with the shield on your helmet open (did this just to test the device) always have your shield down. On the freeway it is a little hard to hear but that depends on your helmet...I'm assuming and how much wind is getting in there. I got it to listen to directions when I'm headed somewhere new and it serves it's purpose. The set up was super easy and it is easy to control with your gloves and on the road.

Absolutely great!
Anybody that complains about this product is way off Yes you might get a bad piece all you have to do is ask and they will send it out to you! Make sure you ask for the proper mic when ordering it The speakers are a little more mid range and high than they are base. I have a very high end helmet so at 75 to 90 miles an hour I can hear and also speak with the people I call......soooooooo If you have a dollar 2.98 helmet or if you already have trouble hearing on top of it your not going to like it. I find it's to loud sometimes. The controls are amazing and easy to handle on the side of the helmet With gloves on. Installation sucks but it's not their problem!!!! it's having to take your helmet apart to put the stuff in....... What I suggest this product to other people! hell yeah I love it!!!! Is it high end?! NO! but I'm telling you, you won't regret buying it!!!!

Budget intercom but a little weak on volume...
So I've had this unit for about for 5 months and, while far from being top of the line, it is satisfactory. The first one I ordered had a problem about 2 months in and it was easily replaced by the seller. The device was pretty easy install into my helmet although I had to use the adhesive mount and not the more secure screw mount provided. I also like the fact that it does provide an FM radio receiver although it lacks any kind of program/frequency memory... So in order to keep this short and succinct I will say that battery life is acceptable I haven't really had any issues with that. I guess my biggest issue is that I'm not so impressed with the sound quality or the volume. I have an Suzuki Intruder 800, ride with a full face helmet and for the most part at cruising speeds the sound is sonically drowned out. There is little or no bass, which I understand being a small speaker but still. Also when at cruising speeds volume is definitely an issue. I realize the padding in my helmet absorbs some of the sound so I have tried several different speaker placements within the allotted space provided by the helmet manufacturer with little difference. Final take: For the money and for me, it does what it's supposed to do. If you're looking for something with more volume or sonically more listenable I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Great for its price, but it has 3 clear problems. 1 it falls out of the holder very easily 2 music play interference happens very easily. I have three spots where it happens all the time on my drive home 3 you can only call on your phone the last number dialled. You cannot interact with Siri to dial particular numbers and the dial functionality happens often when you are turning on or turning off the device. Super annoying to me and the people I call.
