I am exceptionally pleased with the quality, size, and usefulness of this product. It is very well-made and looks perfect in front of my leather chair (an expensive chair). I have recently had knee-replacement surgery, so the height of this ottoman is perfect to give my knee the elevation it needs at the end of the day. The nice storage space inside is a real plus; big enough to hold a blanket, books, etc. Ottoman is heavy enough to be stable , but not too heavy to scoot around. Good price. Nicely packaged too.

Perfect. It gets used for storage, it sits in front of my 400-disc DVD player, so I can sit there to load or unload discs, it acts as an additional very comfortable chair when needed, and it looks nice. Seems to be reasonably well made, with the top being hinged and built pretty nice for the price. I would recommend and will be buying another one. Also works as a good foot stool.

This ottoman was perfect for our small den. It was a gift for my wife. She loves it because the top is well padded and comfortable for her feet and legs. It has storage space for her magazines and is still light enough to move easily. Quality seems to be good and it makes an attractive piece of furniture. My wife is glad I decided to buy this ottoman instead of trying to make one for her.

I am hoping that with my request for second replacement, that when I receive I can return to my review and rewrite and add more stars. Great size, look and product. The problem is the top lid. It has not been made to properly align with bottom when lid closed. It exposes the lip and leavese stitching misaligned. It's an easy fix to get this product to a 5. I hope the manufacturer fixes this small but noticeable imperfection that takes away from what would be a 5 star product.

I'm really pleased with this purchase! These ottomans are the perfect height to put feet up on while relaxing on the couch, and they're a good height for sitting on as well. We bought two, figuring in a pinch they could be used as extra seating for visiting kids, and with a maximum weight of 225 lbs (according to the included papers) they should work for many adults as well. They hold a surprising amount of stuff - currently one is hiding quite a lot of yarn and the other has all of our wii remotes, wheels, etc. with lots of room to spare. They're light enough to move around even with things in them (though if you pack it full of books or bricks you might have a different experience.)The hinges are visible from the outside, which doesn't show in the product photo. The lid stays up until you push it back down, making it reasonably safe for kids to go digging around for things inside. The fabric (faux leather?) is smooth, wipeable and nicely padded - it would probably look strange paired with a real leather sofa, but next to our microfiber furniture is a good contrast.Why four stars? Out of the two, one is perfect. The other wobbles a little and the top is not exactly square with the bottom. A felt furniture pad under one of the corners fixed the wobble, and the slightly off-square top is only noticeable from one side. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these if you're looking for a sturdy, inexpensive storage ottoman.

I needed an ottoman. Looked everywhere for one. I recently bought a new love seat; the matching ottoman for the love seat was too big for the space and $250. I don't think so. Believe me, I looked high and low on just about every home site out there for something compact, brown, stylish. Settled on this one, hoping the reviews were accurate. Were they ever. What a bargain, and it's the cutest little thing. Works perfectly, looks VERY nice, and even has hinged storage. SCORE. Highly recommend. I'm writing this review with my feet up! :)PS I bought a second one when I moved into a larger apartment and added another piece of furniture. Perfect match to the first one I bought; but did I have trouble getting into the box!

This ottoman is 18 x 18 x 14. I say this because had they given the measurements in the ad I would not have purchased it. A 17" cube would have been perfect for my space. The only complaint I have with Amazon is that they do not give measurements on most of their items and for people living in a small space, an inch or two in any direction can be a problem. As for the ottoman (other than size) it is ok but not great. The white decorative stitching doesn't line up perfectly and the hinges are quite visible. I also thought it would have a more leather-like look. It came packaged in a box that fit so tightly that I literally had to cut it away as the ottoman would not slide out. I couldn't return it because I had destroyed the box. I'm using it but it looks "crowded" and low. It does hold a lot of stuff, e.g., magazines and a throw, but I'm disappointed with the purchase overall.

We bought this footstool for our 83 year old mom. She loves it. It's more impressive in person meaning you can feel and see that it looks expensive but isn't. Mom thought it was real leather and it looks it. The stitching on the lid lines up perfectly with the stitching on the box which some reviewers said theirs hadn't. The hinges barely show, which some reviewers said theirs were quite obvious.. Very sturdy for resting your feet but I wouldn't trust it for sitting. It's not made for that weight. We were surprised at the space under the lid. It doesn't look that roomy from the outside. The brown color is a beautiful soft color. Not overwhelming. The top has just enough squish for your feet to be comfortable. Very pleased with the purchase.
