I am very private and reluctant to reveal any details about myself. I share my experience with these compression socks because they have helped a lot. None of my doctors know why I am up several times a night using the rest room. I still see my doctors, but decided to do my own research. I found an article about compression sock and frequent night time urination and decided to try them. Much to my surprise, the socks really helped. For the first time in years, I am sleeping through the night. On top of that, when I wake in the morning, it is no longer necessary to sprint to the bathroom. For me, these socks were game changers. I share my story because there are many otherwise healthy people who also have the same malady. Maybe they can help others too. If you decide to try them, know that the socks have a high quality feel. They are easy to put on and to take off. And, they fit my feet, ankles, and legs exactly as depicted in the picture. The only reason why five stars was not given is the socks have only been worn for two days. Therefore, I don't know how long the compression will last before the sock stretch out of shape. For the now, I do not care. I am ordering an additional two pairs.

Lately I have been told to wear compression socks. I have tried about 5 or 6 different types. This one is the BEST overall.The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that it does not come in a large calf variation. Even before my edema I had very large muscular calves.The price is not the cheapest but is comparable to the others and they do not bunch. It is also easier to adjust as needed. Also the coloring resembles actual socks.A very important part is that the bottom soul is a cotton composite allowing for the shin to breathe and perspire normally. Some of the nylon socks were causing my skin to shed because of poor ventilation for so long. they also launder much easier than the other brands I have gotten.Most important is that these are vertical and gradual compression. This prevents what can be very painful cinching like you get with horizontal compression that can get very severe and painful.

I live at an Assisted Living Facility where I have a nursing staff and private nurse assistance. I purchased one pair of the CompressionZ socks based on the positive reviews. The first pair seemed to meet my cardiologist prescription for a pair of 20-30 mmHg compression socks and they appeared to work well on the swelling in my left leg (which is worse than my right leg). I decided to order a second pair and then a third.After the third pair arrived, I started to rotate all three pairs. I never machined wash any of the socks, just hand wash and hung to dry.One night my nurse was checking my legs and he noticed skin breakdown. He said that was because the sock was on too tight. Now thetightness could be due to the sock being put on my leg unevenly but all employees are trained and put compression socks on patient everyday. The other reason for the skin breakdown could be due to an uneven sock. Since then, I have quit wearing these socks as a precaution and I'm now wearing compression socks from another manufacturer.The neutral rating is due to the fact I cannot prove that the socks caused the skin breakdown until I have them tested in the laboratory. I enjoyed them at first but now I do not want to take any chances.

I wrote the company after they asked how my experience was going. It was still early days in my experience with compression socks, and you'll see my initial reaction below.The socks are great. I've learned to pull up the top first, to the place just under my knee, and then adjust the leg to fit without creases. The socks are warm - a good thing for where I live, but maybe less good if you are living in 110 degree weather. On the other hand I no longer am anxious to get them off the instant I pass the 12 hour mark. I chalk this up to the socks having done their job in getting my legs into shape.I also really enjoy the fun colors and designs. There is certainly a place for the beige, black, and white socks that make up the bulk of the compression sock market, but the CompressionZ socks are just as effective and snazzy to boot. With the exception of a pair of more hose style socks that I will need for business dress, these are now my go-to socks.Here is my first response:As someone new to the world of wearing compression socks, I want to thank you for your product. I've taken the hint to fold over the top since they pull up a bit long when I've tugged aggressively.I like the colors and designs.The price is quite attractive - especially compared with other socks.
