Very sharp (cut my finger washing for first use) but a useful set. I've bought one for me and then a second as a present.Block is not faring so well - marks don't want to clean off and perceptible damage where the knives go in.

I originally bought my first set of Devil kitchen knives some 15/20 years ago, maybe more, they were abused in many respects by family not using them correctly and I gave up sharpening them!!So at 70yrs of age I have ordered a new set and yes more than happy with them….. They are a lot sharper than I am these days though PMSL…Genuinely recommend!!

These knives are very sharp, the handles are a good shape. The blades do seem bit thinner than our old knives but they still do the job.

The knife block is a stylish black and very neat, I wasn't prepared for how sharp the knives would be, they are leathal!!! so far, have sliced half my nail off, top of thumb, gashed the back of my hand, the merest whisper of contact and there is blood all over the place (mine), great if you want really sharp knives at a cheap price, my son, who is a chef, says the reason I have been involuntarily slicing myself up is because the knives are too lightweight. Overall a good product, just be very very careful.
