BIC Velleda 1741 Whiteboard Pens - Green, Box of 12

Very good quality for the price. The 'fumey' smell reported in other reviews is not very bad. Definitely not as bad sharpie smell. Personally I don't really mind it. Initially the pens did seem like they were not very vibrant and almost felt dried out, however after writing with them for a bit the ink began to 'flow' and they became much nicer to write with. with my usage so far I have not noticed any wearing away on the nibs.*Edit* So the fumes smell that I apparently didn't mind is actually very strong especially when I'm revising with my door and windows closed. Still doing great ink wise however I recommend using them in a well ventilated place. Also pleasantly surprised by the nibs on the pens. They're still exactly the same as they were initially. Firm and retain their shape.

I was so excited for these pens as I was relying on the for my revision. They come in a lovely range of coloursand write really well. HOWEVER, when it came to wiping them off I couldn't remove the pen marks. First time using them and they have completely ruined my whiteboard, thus leaving me without a whiteboard or a pen and I desperately needed to revise. I'm left extremely disappointed as I expected more from Bic.

These pens smell absolutely horrible. I bought these for my children to practise writing on white board, and after only 10 minutes' use, the living room is full of chemical smell. I grabbed the pens away from my kids even though they were screaming, but I can't let them use these pens - don't feel they are safe enough for children.Although smells bad, the pens have bright colour and can be wiped off easily. If you don't mind the smell, go for them as they are really good value.

Bought these for weekly menu plan on fridge so didn't need very bold writing and these are fine for job. They do give off quite a lot of 'fumes' on use but guess that's what makes them suitable for whiteboards and wiping off.

They stench like I don't know what in addition to it they are very difficult to clean. They leave some sort of grey stains which are very are practically permanent. Destroyed the whiteboard on which it was used.

This product is great quality, it's fairly priced and the description is accurate. I will be buying from you again. Would recommend to everyone!

I bought this product to write lesson note to my students but I can't use it because the chemical odour is too strong and makes me feel sick and my music studio smell feels like a car garage. They don't mention that this product is odour free, so I suppose I can't complain but if you don't want the. smell, I would recommend to find different product. I will not buy this product again.

These markers are a total waste of money. They are very faint and very dry, as if they were very old. I would not recommend it to anyone!
