A Great Resource
I have made two orders from this company, both for 50 medium roaches. In both cases, all roaches were alive upon arrival, with food included for them to eat during the journey. Both times, they have included some extra roaches and an extra packet of roach food, as well as a card for recognizing juveniles and adult males and females (for those unfamiliar with the breed). What you see in the picture for the medium Dubia is what you get, a mixture of sizes with a couple at either extreme and most being intermediate in size.I was extremely surprised with the service. Even when I buy insects at local pet stores, there are almost always some dead ones included. The price also seems very reasonable to me, the ones sold at local pet stores in my area being almost twice the price. In all, I would very highly recommend this company.

So far so good!
I am a first time herp owner so my perspective is a bit limited. Still, my new leopard gecko was not eating for a couple weeks after being moved to my home and while I was told that was normal I was pretty upset about it. She had been fed mealworms by her prior owners, but I could not get her to eat any myself. When I got these in the mail, however, I tried feeding them to her right away and she scarfed them down like they were the tastiest food she had ever seen. She is eating just fine now and I am very relieved.A few of the roaches were DOA, but most of them were fine. There was more variety of sizes than I expected since they are labled as being 'small' roaches. This is ok by me, the biggest are small enough for her to eat and the little ones will get bigger. I may need to get more though if I want to breed them, probably they will all be eaten by the time they get old enough to lay eggs.I have only had them around a few days, so only time will tell if these turn out to be the good investment I think they will be. I will report back if they all drop dead from a disease or something. For now, however, my gecko is eating and that is good enough for me.

What happened?
I used to order those roaches all the time. They used to come in a nice container and there were always extra roaches. This time I got my order and it was in a bag! As soon as I opened the bag roaches went all over! And roaches were extremely small. And I didn't even get 50 roaches! I don't know what happened but I was very upset with the service. Never ordering from them again. I wish I could have my money back. I am VERY upset since I thought that those are the people I am going to stick with to get my roaches from since in the past the service was great.I am giving 1 star because roaches were alive

Great Deal!
Calling around various local exotic petstores, I discovered one thing: Healthy eating is not cheap! Local petstores wanted between fifty cents to a dollar PER ROACH! Took a peek online, and found fantastic prices but $30 to $50 shipping... well, that wasn't much better. Then I came here, saw a GREAT price and fast shipping. Ordered on Monday and got them today. Packed with a warmer, there were PLENTY of them crawling around (unpacking into my breeding tub, I counted only 4 dead - acceptable losses considering the trek from New Jersey to Utah). put 3 in my freckled monitor tank, and he was THRILLED! Gobbled them up in seconds. When the time comes to order another batch, I will definitely go this route. For those worried about roach size to lizard size, the "small roach" order seems to cover roaches 1/8th inch to 1/2 inch long, perfect for leopard geckos, smaller bearded dragons, turtles, dwarf monitors, spiders, scorpions, small frogs, newts, basically any insectivore under two feet long. If you are feeding a snapping turtle, large monitor, tegu, adult bearded dragon, frilled dragon, adult Pacman frog, Tokay gecko, etc (anything with a big, powerful mouth), I'd recommend going for the medium or adult roaches.

mostly alive but small
They arrived a little sooner than expected, considering the fact that I went for the free rather than expedited shipping, They arrived 5 business days after shipping, and I only counted 8 dead. They came in a ziploc baggie with holes with shredded newspaper and some dust that might have been bran or something. I was surprised at how small they were though; much too small for my blue tongue skink. Yeah, it says "small" in the title, so I expected that they would be a little small for him, but these suckers are tiny. None more than a centimeter. I'm sure they will grow some, but the description should be a little more clear about the size.

If Your looking for something quick and cheap!!!
Plus for this Product: The plus for this product was the time it came in the mail.. 2 days maybe?Negative for this Product: The downfall for this product would have to be the packaging. It comes in a Cloth Bag stuffed with brown Paper..it was just way to hard to try to get the roaches off of the paper and into a container.I almost wouldn't recon it, but if you're looking for something quick and cheap.- Here ya go.

Alive after 5 day summer commute
Arrived in 5 days (which I assumed would be a DOA situation with the summer heat), but surprisingly I received my package today, secure and alive. It came in a brown small box, and within the box was an invoice, the Dubia’s and a “Thank You” card. The bag was secured with a zip tie and contained the critters and some crumpled brown paper.Overall I am VERY impressed with the packaging and live arrival of all but 3 critters, I would have liked more shipping options as the summer heat ramps up (2-day arrival), but overall I will recommend this seller to my peers.I can’t say wether I got “100”, because I fed both geckos about 20 of these bugs each, and still have about half left, so I am satisfied with the count of bugs (some said they only got 50).
