Great shipping, but super small
These roaches were quite a bit smaller than I expected even from the photos - less than half the size of the ones I buy at the pet shop, and easily the littlest roaches I've ever seen. However, they also arrived a week ahead of schedule, to my pleasant surprise, so I had a case of larger roaches ready for my beardie already, which gave me some time to plump these guys up a little. On the plus side, the speed of their arrival and their state of liveliness was great; on the downside, their packaging was really irritating. They arrived nested in shredded newspaper, so picking out all of those strips of newspaper to transfer them to their enclosure without dropping any roaches in the process was a pain, given their size. A few nearly got away, crawling up my hand becase I thought it was a spot on the paper instead of a live insect. These are definitely going to be too small for my 5 month old beardie, but if I ever have a baby beardie or a smaller lizard, I'd definitely buy again.

Delivered quickly and all were healthy and alive
They were delivered quickly and were all very active. I think there may be 1 that was dead but very pleased with the quality.

Probably should consider these roaches extra-small
Don't expect any roaches larger than the diameter of a pencil. These are probably less than a month old roaches. I would say this wouldn't make a very good feeder for anything larger than an anole or hatchling baby bearded dragon unless you want to try growing the roaches in a bin for a month. I bought these to grow and eventually breed, for the low price I expected about half of them to be DOA, but probably only a quarter were dead. what you get is a sandwich zip lock bag with pin-sized holes in it filled with 1 1/2 egg crate egg cup, packed in a box about 3 in x 4 in x 2.5 in (not big) with shredded newspaper for padding. When you open it you'll wonder if you were ripped off because it will look like you only got less than 30 of them, but fret not, these little buggers bunch all together into the corner of the egg crate piece so you may find as many as 10 all stacked together in a tiny area. They came with a teaspoon of roach chow but once I gave them some water crystals and a carrot they were ravenously hungry and thirsty.I've been told they need temperatures around 85-105*F which is fine because I live in Satan's armpit where the afternoon temperature in the shade is around 90*F and humidity is around 70-80% so I just leave them in a 35 gallon tub outside.Tip: if you don't have egg crates to store them with you can always crimp some cardboard and stack them alternating the crimp pattern. A picture of my set up is attached. The three tiny black speckles in the water crystals are roaches.

Fast arrival, not many dead, not sure if there’s as many roaches as the listing says?
Overall very pleased with the order! They arrived quickly, with only about five dead. They are very small but exactly what I needed. They are thriving a month later (I’m starting a colony for my bearded dragon) and all seem very healthy! There didn’t seem to be quite the amount as the listing said but not enough off for me to feel concerned. I’m happy with my purchase!

Great... but there was not 100, only about 60...
Bought 100 small roaches to test feed to my chameleon, they came about 2-3 days early and all of them were alive. When i opened the package to put them in their habitat, i counted about only 58! Even if i miscounted, there was well below 100. Would definitely buy again, but i hope next time i'll get the amount of roaches i paid for.

Excellent!
I ordered my roaches on Wednesday for my leopard gecko and they came today (Saturday afternoon). The packing was excellent, everything was wrapped in news paper to ensure the roaches' safe arrival. They even came with a heat pack and a small bag of food. I was iffy about ordering online since I was paranoid of them dying and being ripped off, but I got 35 extra in case any of them did die. "west coast" should really be really nation wide since I live in Maryland, and NONE of them had died during the journey. They were all nice and plump, and the right size for my juvenile gecko. He snatched two of them up the second I put them in his tank. To top everything off, I got a handwritten thank you note, which was a very nice touch. Will definitely order more in the future :D
