Purple Martin Decoy

Well made plan on putting it on purple Martin house also purchased on amazon. Would have liked to see it come with a mounting piece . Have to figure out how to mount it on top of the purple Martin birdhouse.

Works perfectly. Very near lifelike. I have attracted Martin's even when it's not their typical time to be in my area.

So I'm not a "bird" person and the only reason I even knew a Purple Martin decoy existed is because my husband is all about the outdoors. That being said, we purchased a Purple Martin "condo" in the hopes that they would come to our house and eat mosquitos (we live in the south). Well, I must say that once the decoy was up, the Martins immediately started coming to the "condo"!! We already have 3 nests that they built in less than 2 months! The decoy itself is very well made and the company obviously took the time to pay attention to the details of the coloring and the size. So in conclusion, if you are looking to attract Purple Martins to your home, this decoy is the way to go!
