Disney Mickey Mouse: The Scariest Halloween Story Ever! ReadAlong Storybook and CD

This is an awesome book/CD! The audio is spectacular with the voice actors from the cartoon, and the art is pulled from the cartoon and is beyond excellent.The scares reference Frankenstein, Dracula and Hansel & Gretel, the later being "the scariest" might actually be a bit intense for young kids the first time through. It does peel away the scares by the end.The book does feature Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Morty, Ferdie, Huey, Dewy, Louie, Minnie and Daisy.Noticeably absent are Pluto, Clarabelle and Horsecollar.

I bought this book for my 5 kiddos, but based on the reviews I made sure the littlest one didn't hear all of it. My 4 boys thought this book was hysterical and we were all laughing so hard we were tearing up at the end....especially because I had made pie that night!! The pictures are hilarious, and as long as you don't focus too much on the spooky part, its not too horrifying. The voices were amazing and made this book even better! If you have slightly older children (5 and up), this is fine. Maybe save it for later for littler ones :) I thought my boys had outgrown Mickey Mouse, but this book proves that Mickey is timeless. Probably one of my top 5 favorite Halloween books - and we have like 30!

My daughter loves to watch this little movie every morning so having the book now is a great plus!

It was kind of scary for some kids! It is like an old fairytale

As a second grade teacher I often buy books on CD for my listening station. Most of them are fine, this one is exceptional because the recording is so much fun. It uses character voices, music and sound effects. This is a favorite of my students.

My kids love this book. Cute story, just the right amount of “scary” for kids. It’s a longer story too, about 10 minutes so it keeps my kids occupied for longer than most picture books on cd.

Exactly like the episode. My son loves it. Maybe too much. Have listened waaay too many times in the car.

Super cute book, CD always gets lots of laughs. Listened to year round!

Despite the title and reviews, I thought to myself “how bad can it really be” especially for Mickey Mouse. Well, it’s bad. The images are way too frightening for my 6 year old daughter. I’m pretty shocked.
