Good but small…
The book is great… it’s so small though I have to wear magnifiers to read it… but it has a lot of information… no way I could reference it outside at night… but it does have a lot of great stuff to read

outstanding book for constellation identification
Outstanding book for a beginner (and more advanced people too) attempting to learn the constellations. By arranging the constellations by season and also in order of difficulty of identifying, the author has made it very easy for a novice to improve his/her skills. The small size makes it convenient to take out in the field. For those wanted more scientific information, they could easily combine this book with the DK book The Practical Astronomer by Will Gater and Anton Vamplew which would probably give the average person all the technical astronomy knowledge they want. There is also a lot of additional supplementary information in the back which makes the book that much more valuable. I wish I had had this book when I first started learning constellations. It would have made the job much simpler. This is the best book I have read for the purpose (and I have read a number) and if there were a rating above 5 I would use it. .

Great stargazing guide.
Great guide to the night sky. Where to look for objects like the Milky Way, various constellations and stars. It even comes with a small flashlight to help using the book when stargazing. It’s just right to carry in a coat pocket. Not too big, not too small.

A great book every amateur stargazer should have
This is a great little book! Fits in your pocket, super easy to use. When I ordered it, I didn't even notice it comes with a little flashlight. That's a nice bonus! I would recommend this book to anyone. If you're new to astronomy, this book will be a great help to you. Experienced backyard astronomers will enjoy it as well, and you can hand it to friends and family so they can enjoy using it while you're setting up the next observation.

Combines Stargazing and Constellations for Kids
There is one other book that is interesting, Constellations because it says it has 88 rather than 64 of them. This book is a great companion to the Stellarium web site. I learned about that site from Astronomy for Dummies. So I guess I'm saying there are 2 books that are worthwhile, this one and Astronomy for Dummies.
