Unique thimbles, fit well and do the job.
I found that these thimbles were very helpful, especially during times when I was tired and slipped while sewing. They protected my fingers and made gripping easier. I didn’t think they adjusted too much in size, but I also didn’t need to adjust too much as they came pretty well fit. I really like that they can with different styles and sizing, they are exactly as described and for an added touch to the crafting experience, they have a very unique look.

Finally found a thimble that works for me
I bought this thimble after having a needle go into my finger 1/2 way down the length of my nail because it was caught in my rubber thimble. This thimble is strong enough to keep that from happening. Also, I've always had trouble finding a thimble that fits - this one is adjustable. Some of the thimbles I've tried don't hit the needle in the right location (hand quilting is a little different than regular sewing). This one works although I have to be careful the needle doesn't go over the top edge. The metal adjustment rings are a little uncomfortable, so I use a little strip of rubber to cushion them and it also helps with the fit.

So close!
I have been quilting for 30 years. These are defineitly better than other thimbles. However, they really only fit the fingers so that the front & top of the finger (and fingernail) is protected - but I tend to use the side of my finger more than the front. eh...I kinda use the inside corner of my finger/fingernail. I find that I need to turn these thimbles a bit for them to cover the area that I use the most - and these thimbles are just not made to fit the side of the finger. That being said, they are still better than all the others. Note to seller: these are so close to perfect. They need to protect just a bit more towards the inside of the finger to cover the corner tip better. They just need about 1/8" more of coverage.

They really work!
I wasn't sure how these would do but I really needed some so I gave them a try. They are well worth it! The variety of sizes made it easy to find what worked for me. I didn't even need to squeeze it to make any tighter. But how wonderful they are made in a way the size can be adjusted. These are very sturdy little thimbles and I highly recommend them!

Good idea, but too small
Ok, I'm a man but like to sew. I recently had to sew a bunch of patches on my kid's jacket and wanted to protect my finger since it has been a while. These work as described, no problem. Nice and thick. Problem is size. The only way to adjust them is by physically spreading the pieces apart. But after a few minutes of use, their largest sized thimble still pinched my thumb pretty bad. Hurt so much after 15 minutes that I decided to not use them. Yes, received two small and two larger in the packages. They are not all the same size, possibly for other fingers. The smallest sized was never used. Ideal for small hands, but not large.

Here is some sizing that may help!
These are the bees knees. Here's sizing info that may help: The end of my index finger is 2" in diameter (measured mid-digit), and my thumb is 2.25" (measured mid-digit). When the metal pull-apart tabs on the Small and Medium-sized Thimbles are closed, the Small thimble just fits (with a bit of wriggling), on my index finger (it's snug which is good - no falling off. The Medium thimble also fits very well (no wriggling), and I think it is tight enough to stay on (I haven't used them yet). I'm using them for a knitting project I am doing - I got tired of wearing a bandaid so I could use my index finger to push my knitting needle through extra thick yarn when making cables! These are a dream come true. When buying gloves I select medium-sized, and my ring size is 7.5 - in case you are not up to measuring your fingers. (lol). The metal is substantial, and will not chip etc. I almost gave 4 stars on ease of use because the pull-apart tabs were difficult for my Mom to pull apart. They are not impossible though, so people with less strong hands for any given reason may need to use pliers to pull the tabs apart or push them together (or ask for help).

Love!
These are the first thimbles I've been able to use! They're super comfy and being adjustable make swapping fingers so easy. I enjoy that it looks like my fingers have armored helmets on too. The only grievance is that my fingers had a dark residue from the thimbles after extended use. It wipes off pretty well but I'm thinking about trying some clear topcoat nail polish if this persists.
